RE: thank you and request

the back actually has the same name as the large stone, best I can make out this is what it says.

Shepherd R
Our Son (I think it says Son)
May 21 1899
Aged 56yrs (I can't make out the last word) 4 letters and the last 2 are ds.

I'm not close to the cemetery otherwise I'd run over and try and locate it for you again.

Hope this helps,

Steve Harrison
Shepherd Curtis
I added the memorial but none of the photographs and live in NC, so can't check. You might contact one of the photographers. It appears that the photo by Scott that you are asking about is an individual headstone for Shepherd (the death date, which is fairly legible is the same as on the large "family" monument.) Good luck. Perhaps someone can take a post a higher quality image. Steve

Canfeld photos
I uploaded your photos of Issac and Maria Canfield. Is this ok? If not, I will remove them. Thanks again for your contributions! I really appreciate it!

LaVal Tracy
Hi Fran,

Back in April of 2011 I added a grave marker for my nephew LaVal Tracy. I also add his birth date and his parents information.

Sometime in June 'Recordagrave' added this same marker and you now have management of it. I just thought that you should know that there are now two instances of this memorial.

Terry and Gerald Alford
Fran; Thank you for pointing out the duplicate memorial for Terry. I have a photo I took of his and his fathers headstone. When I tried to add the photo I found it was too large. I don't know much about shrinking the size of them. If you can add one or both we would really be pleased. Jerry and Terry are the only family members we have at Lake Hills, but we have four more plots near them. Thanks again, Buddy.

Mae Galioto
Hi Fran, I have tried to be active but have had a hard time getting all of it completed like I would like too. Not enough hours in the day. I have linked Mae to her parents. I have photos and I think the obit I still need to get it updated the rest of the way.

Have a Happy memorial Day!

Collins Crapo
Housley family
Per your request, I have transferred to you the pages for Lorenzo & Julia Housley Farley. Julia was your 3rd-great-grandma? Wow; her sister Elizabeth Housley Crapo was my great-grandma, so you & I would be 3rd cousins twice removed!

RE: Lake Hills Cemetery
I work for Memorial Mortuaries who owns Lake Hills so I have access to all the names of those buried there.

Goldie Belle Kelsey Johnson
Hello Fran,

"Is it possible this person was buried at the Mountain View Cemetery located in Columbus, Stillwater, Montana instead of the one in Big Timber?", was your question on Find A Grave.

Yes, that is entirely possible. I have gone back to notes and cannot find my source for the posting.

Her parents and some siblings ARE in Big Timber, so I may have made the assumption, not realizing there were TWO cemeteries of similiar name.

How far apart are these locations?

Etta Curtis
So glad to see family request for her.
We photographed all of the headstone in the cemetery, the sexton told us about the destroyed records and we knew that the only way to make sure that everyone that could be listed was to do it that way.
If you find any others that are family please let me know.
