Thank you so much for leading me to this cemetery. I would have never found it if you hadn't shown me the location. Your kindness will never be forgotten.

Dudley you do not know how this makes me feel. The nearest I have been to William's blood since I started in 1982. I thought the land had to have come from family and he was reaching his majority in 1878.So now he was getting his land. Will check into Bolivar Co and see if he might be living with someone in 1870. He died when my Dad was just 9 and my father did not know anything about him and my Grandmother did not have anything to say. Before 1850 there were quite a few DeLoachs in Yazoo,Carroll Co Ms. Then some move into La from what I could tell. God Bless you for the new information. I own you one. Bobbie

That is my problem. Unable to located him until 1910 in Sunflower md to my Grandmother. His sister Annie md to Garnett was living with another party in 1870 in Holmes then she married James Robert Garnett about 1875.My William married a Lou Sawyer in Holmes Co about 1879. So I'm looking at a dead end regarding the land records. But again Thank you So much for your help. I guess if this was easy we would not do right. Any thing I can help you with please let me know and once more thank you for your cemetery records in Holmes Co. They are a God send to me and others. Bobbie

Thank you so much for your reply Dudley, My DeLoach lived about all his life in Holmes Co Ms. Then in Humphreys or Sunflower Co. I just need to found out where he received some land that he sold about 1878. I was going to come back and try to located the information but my husband passed away in May so unable to come back. I'm not good on land records. Tried to locate someone in court house but no luck. Please let me know how you would like to do this. I have my families posted on anc.com His name was William Howard DeLoach but went as Willie. Unable to located him with parent they appear to have disappeared about 1860-1870. Just him and his sister Annie who married a Garnett. Let me know what I need to do and Dudley I will donate money to any place that you would like me to for your service. I have been researching this since 1982 and have quite a few trips back to Holmes and Humphreys Co. Bobbie

I would love that! My grandmother's people lived in Lexington always. The old house was torn down for that new road behind the cemetery. My grandmother's dad delivered mail long ago. Such history there for the Howells.

Thank you for creating a memorial for Jonas H. Sontheimer. (no. 53282067). Would you please change his year of death from 1973 to 1873? An earlier reading of his stone, before the inscription was so badly faded, shows 1873 as his year of death. Thank you.

Thank you so much for the picture of Infant Howell at Spring Hill Cemetery in Holmes County. I really appreciate it! My mother passed away last June and I go to her grave every few months. She is buried in Odd Fellows in her family (Howell) plot. I would love to go to Spring Hill sometime while I'm in the area. Where is Spring Hill located?

Dudley, RE: the picture you provide for Wilson Eldridge in Midway Baptist Cemetery in Yazoo County, MS. Do you have a picture of the other half of the headstone. The side that shows his wife? We don't know her name, but Wilson is a cousin.
thanks John and Melva Eldridge Gillis

I noticed you have the wrong father for him. His father was Andrew E. Jobe #83597336 and his mother was Fannie #83597337. I submitted the edits already so all you have to do is approve them. I can provide references, if needed. Thank you! :)

|Carolyn Nash Hickman||Thank you.|
Thank you for all your efforts in helping me find the whereabouts and pictures of my family gravestones. When we visited MS in 2004, I was almost to that point when my husband got very ill. I so wanted to see them, and now I can, thanks to you.
I, also, would like to have your permission to use the photos to build my Family Tree and will give you the credit for them.
I got your CD when I started this journey ten years ago. Find A Grave makes it so personal.

I have several family members buried in this cemetery but have never been able to find it although I've made several trips to the area. Can you tell me if the map given here on Find-a-Grave is accurate? If it is then I'm assuming that Salem is on private land now. Thanks for any help you can provide--Jennifer Long Ryan
