Many thanks. Dorothy is a cousin that disappeared off my grandmother's radar in the 70s.

Your contribution has filled a long-standing gap in my database.

Charles Thomas Pritchard
Hello Cheryl I was wondering if you are related to Charles Thomas Pritchard? He is my wife's 3rd great-grandfather. Her grandmother was Addie Lee Pritchard Ferrell. I seen the photo you posted on find a grave and was hoping to get more info on the family. Thanks Mark Leet

I have a picture of both of them When my neighbor gets home from his trip I will ask him to help me scan them to your site if that is okay with you. I am at a loss on how to do that.

Hi Cheryl I am so busy with taking care of my husband in a nursing home and all my other things. You are doing a great job with this so I would like for you to continue with it. I really enjoyed seeing the tombstone picture that is a great photo. Called my cousin in Colorado about it. His great grandfather is Jeremiah Pearce and mine is the Peter/Paul Pearce. I have pictures of Peter and Rebecca.

paul pearce and rebecca wheeler
Hi Cherryl, thank you for publishing a photo of the pearce tombstone. Someone got the names mixed up when they made the stone. Paul is really peter mcbride pearce and rebecca remarried to a mr wheeler after peter/paul died. This is a great picture and I was surprised to see she is buried with him. Her name is Rebecca Delilah Case. They are my great grandparents. Their daughter is buried here in oklahoma. There is something about her tombstone too. But that was my aunt's doing. I have been tracking this family for awhile so has peter/paul's brother's great grandson. He actually has the pearce name. But you are doing great with the site. Please keep up the good work.

C.T. Pritchard
Hey Cherryl,

I made the changes you suggested except for the death date because the stone has something completely different. I looked him up on and I don't know if the death date you gave me is for somebody else or not, but this is what the Mormon church has on him. It's what the stone says.

Ginger and all who have an interest:
My mistake and I have since corrected it. They are not at Collinsville Cemetery after all. I talked to my friend who took the photos of the stones and he told me they are in the Whitesboro Cemetery which is also called Oak Wood Cemetery on Find A Grave - so I'm assuming it's the same one. Just known by two different names. Some one has already posted their information there along with photos of the stones. I'm very sorry for the confusion - it was an honest mistake and I'm happy to see it get corrected. My friend who took the photos said that the Dr.'s house is now a Memorial Site of some kind - not sure exactly what. But it is also located in Whitesboro.

Cherryl, here's the note I got back from the lady who built this web page. I'll do some looking. Thanks, Ginger

Dr. Rufus N Younger
Sorry, but no can do as to removing him from the Collinsville Cemetery. He is there. Go to and do a search, either on his name or the county and cemetery name and you will see a photo of his stone. I wasn't there myself, but a friend of mine went there and took photos of stones and shared them with me. And I posted them at that site. I don't remember posting to Find A Grave also, but perhaps I did.

Thank you very much for the photo of grave marker for Eleanore Rossel. It is my good fortune that you are retired and enjoy genealogy and stopping at cemeteries. I share your passion!
You report that Rossel family plot has only mother, Eleanore, and son, Robert S. Rossel, and his wife. I appreciate this additional info.
