You have 2 requests at Mother of God Cemetery in Kenton County, KY for Maria Riesenbeck and Gerhard Arlinghaus. I would be happy to go look for you if you can find out a location for me, at least the sections they are in.... Thank you!

I am just in the preliminary stages of doing my mother's side of the family. It is much too early to know. I will need to see some primary records and census records are good for "hints" but not proofs. For the moment it appears that I am descended from a Pattie/Patsy Rose, a daughter of a William Jackson Rose. But I will need to see some primary records on her, too.

Hello, Has a search for the grave of Jackson Rose been made? I have him recorded as possibly name "William" Jackson Rose, if that can be of any assistance. Thank you for creating his online memorial. Always, James

HI, Well I see we have the same family . My great grand mother was Hulda Jane Rose Campbell,her father Will or Wiilam Rose, born about 1860-61in Whitly CO. KY. I would love to know or see what you have on the family.I have been up to Harps Creek to Goins Cem. and Brown Cem. I truley love it there. I feel at home when I get up there. I live about an hour and a half for Harps Creek.I have had trouble finding where some of the family is burried . I did find some of the Bennett graves.I am also kin to Partins, Killions, but dont have luck on them. I didnt know many or much about the Roses till I got on ancestry.com. I have found my moms Uncle who we thought was dead ,he was 81 when I found his daughter.We have become very close.My Uncle died 2 days after Christmas 2012. I did get to talk with him on the phone. I guess I am going on , I just get happy when I find some one who is in and know about the family. My email is email@example.com. Thanks Mary Mckamey

Hi Tonya, I think that you and I are related in more than one way. I am a descendant of Levi Bennett and Nancy Harp through their daughter Phoebe Bennett that married John Lewis Sears, plus also I am a descendant of William Rose and Frankie Burch as well through their son Larkin that married Malinda Powers so I guess that would make us double cousins. I sent you a friend request in Facebook because I have alot of my Ancestry info in my FB account, I've found that FB is a great resource for researching Ancestry, hope to talk with you soon my cousin :)
Please look at the listings that I have on findagrave, you may find some relatives of yours that I have already listed as my primary focus is on the very old, lost, forgotten cemeteries of Whitley, Knox, Pulaski and Bell Counties.

|Melissa Martin||Hello again more info|
Hi, I was looking through my book that I got from the Stanford Libary, Marriages 1780-1850 & Tombstone Inscriptions I found Green Kidd and it says Mary A. wife of Green, 09-12-1899, 61 years old. I think the tombstones I found was hers. I hope this helps you some.

I have sent you pictures around Green Kidd's grave and the stone that has the name Green Kidd on it almost unreadable. I sent it through my email firstname.lastname@example.org
Added by Melissa Martin on Nov 03, 2009 7:39 PM
I found the stone for Green Kidd, but no stone for Anna. We found a few plain stones next to his, no writing on them. There was a stone next to his that we could hardly see but we could make out Green Kidd died 9/12/1899. There were more writing on it but we could not read it. I have the pictures if you want them.

Tonya, you are very welcome and glad that I was able to fill your request. Strange how I almost gave up that day,and My Husband & I drove right up to the area and he told me to start searching! Well there in the very front of our van was his stone. His site is a premium site which means the headstone was right by the road in the cemetery. A beautiful stone with a wonderful saying!!!
God Bless You Too,

Tonya, thank you so much for taking the photos of my grandparents' graves. Living in Michigan, I don't know when I would have been able to get down there myself. I also noticed through the photo that the cemetery misspelled my grandmothers name, so I will have to check with them on that. Your efforts are greatly appreciated!!

|Rob||Joseph & Elizabeth Arlinghaus|
I posted the photo for Joseph Arlinghaus. Your request asked for Elizabeth, if available, she is buried next to him and they share a common headstone. According to burial records, (and as indicated on their marker), her name was "A. Elizabeth". I have entered her data and transferred ownership to you.
Also, their burial records indicate that both died in Clifton (which is now South Newport), KY. This is where my family is from.
