Hi! In regards to your photo request, can you please call the cemetery and obtain the grave location (Section & Lot numbers) and ask them whether or not there is a grave marker? Please post this information to the memorial or send it to me.

Forest Home Cemetery: 708-366-1900 or 773-287-0772

Forest Home is a huge cemetery with well over 70,000 burials, and the information is needed in order to find someone there and take a photo of a grave. I go here regularly, and since August I have found over 200 graves at Forest Home that had the location information provided. Thank you! Ace

Paul Banister
James Elliott, Parkinson Cemetery
I will post what I believe to be subject's marker shortly. It is totally illegible but it is just to the left of Emily's. I just got back from Indiana after a visit with my parents who live in Hanover. My great grandparents and g-g grandparents are interred at Parkinson's, which is also known as Banister Cemetery.

I'm not blood related. Bob Ketchum s/o wooden Ketchum is my grandpa. However, he's my step-gpa. He never had any biological children.

You can contact me at sbwaggoner@comcast.net.

I'm not sure what people you are referring to... My family descends down through Ben F., then Wooden.

B.J. Nelson
Haskill Pennington Photo Request
There is no marker for Haskill. I am going to the cemetery on 7/14 and I will take a photo of the grave and post it if you wish. I have not checked with the cemetery to see that he is buried there because sometime the person listed owned the lot but is buried elsewhere. The Longmont Genealogical Society only lists the owner and doesn't check if the party is buried there. They listed a friend of mines mother 6 months before she died and she not the first one they have done that way.

Welthy Benn. Why is the white stone on this listing? There is no "a" in Welthy. Just nit-picking

He married Aila B Speers, daughter of Cornelius and Sarah Talley Speers. I believe that is the way you spell her name, Aila. If you want more information i can send it to you.

Herbert and Nellie
Janet, Contrary to my personal feelings, and in favor of Clarity, I have deleted the two memorials that I created for Herbert and Nellie Pittenger Blacklidge. Hopefully the next time I will be asked in advance to link my earlier memorial to the cemetery instead of deleting all of the work that I put into them.

Patti
Samuel & Phoebe
Delighted to see your postings on the Benns in Ebenezer. Do you think Samuel & Phoebe may have also been buried at Ebenezer?

Many of my ancestors were also buried there so I have worked for a good number of years to try and document all the burials there.

What a travesty ~ a pioneer cemetery desecrated with such great family histories and even a good number of honored US vets. Sickening isn't it? But this is a great way to memorialize this early cemetery.

My ancestors are Scofields, Stoughtons, Rybolts, Bensons, Marshalls, Pattons, Hearn, etc from Green Twp. Caleb was buried there~he was in War of 1812 from NY ... his tombstone did not survive but his wife, Margaret Prosser Scofield's thankfully did. No doubt some of their children who died young were also buried there ~ but, alas no record for them.
Write if I can be of help to you.
Thanks again,
