As far as I know I am not related. I was visiting my mother and took pictures of most of the tombstones at McArthur and several at another cemetery. I have not added them all yet. There were so many that were not set up that I stopped adding pictures and added names and dates. I may have pictures of the Wrotens and Willie Bond that I haven't gotten to yet.
How do you do a transfer?
I set up the names and dates with a spreadsheet. Is there an easy way to add pictures. It is taking me forever to do one at a time.
Was I suppose to leave a public message or is there another way?

|james cook||Long family|
I saw the grave info on John Lawler Long and noted that Louisiana Long came from Tennessee. I have been trying to locate information on a Dr. Long who lived in the Knox County Tenn in 1820's and 1830's'
On sparse records I have found he is listed as W. Long or James Long. He had a son with his first wife named Billy so he may have been William. His second wife was Elizabeth or Betty Baldwin who died about 1835, and had one son, John W. Long. His 3rd wife was Mary Ann had two sons Alex and Jim Long. He may have practiced into the 70's or 80's in the Knoxville area. His first son Billy had a wife Polly who was a midwife. Billy and his wife left the Knoxville area about 1841. Dr Long died in 1882. I did not know if there may be some records of doctors who practiced in the Knoxville area. Any help would be appreciated. He is my mother's earliest known relative. thanks James W Cook MD Rev John W. Long who married Easter Malinda Rapp is my second oldest ancestor, his son. They are both buried in Harmony Cemetery in Parker Co. Texas along with W. Long who is listed as his father.
Dr. Long-----------------W. Long or James Long--maybe James W. Long 10 Dec 1806 to 10 Oct 1882

I recorded the birth for Felix on my memorial.
My wife's GGgrandfather, Alfred Frank Hinson, deeded 2 acres for the church and cemetery. I should say Alfred and his wife deeded the land. Maybe you and her are distant cousins.

I am working on a DAR application for a descendant of Holden W. Ward and Matilda Therrell, trying to connect Holden W. Ward to his father, then his grandfather John Edward Ward, Jr, who is a proven DAR patriot.
Can you help with information on this family? Since there is no tombstone photo, I'm hoping you are related to this family and have other info. Thanks, Holley Izard, Greenville, TX

I help with some of the records for Hunter's Chapel Cemetery. You and I have a memorial for Felix Allen at Hunter's Chapel. My post has photos of Felix's headstones. Would it be possible for you to delete your post or take over the management of my memorial. Your memorial at Hunter's Chapel is #32820758.

Robert Grant at Concord Cemetery, in Iola, Grimes County, Texas.
The information shows he is the son of Argyle Grant, but he is not. He is the brother to Argyle.
Thank you for your contributions.

There is no cemetery left. Only the marker and the stone that lists those buried there. The info I obtained came from the Washington County Historical Society. Since I am not related, I have transferred him to you. Did you notice that his son and daughter (names unknown to me) also died the same year.
Just for my curiosity sake, I would love any information you have on his family including the location of his wife and what happened to his children.
You can e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org
