|Linda Duke ||RE: Duplicate gravesites|
Ok, I was wrong. There is no grave for the parents at Grant's Creek http://files.usgwarchives.net/al/tuscaloosa/cemeteries/grants-creek-1.txt but in fact, three of their children are there all of whom died in 1899. When I tried to email Dana Ribble, found that she no longer receives them. So the memorials created by Dana Ribble must be wrong. Can we fix this?
ref: Margaret Elizabeth Robertson Poole, Find A Grave #6357766 and #112289435
George Washington Poole, Find A Grave #61357357 and #112289471
I have registered for the forum but I have no idea how to contact anyone at find-a-grave. Can you help me resolve this?

|Linda Duke ||Duplicate gravesites|
There are duplicate memorials for George W Poole and Margaret E Poole as well as duplicate stones for them. The memorials for George are 112289471 (burial site is Evergreen Cemetery) and #61357357 (burial site is Grants Creek Cemetery). I have found the reference at http://files.usgwarchives.net/al/tuscaloosa/cemeteries/grants-creek-1.txt and a picture depicts a stone at the graves in Evergreen Cemetery. There are two children linked to Evergreen and the rest (appr 8) linked to Grants Creek, of which 7 are pending edit approval.
The memorials for Margaret are 112289435 (Evergreen) and #61357766 (Grants Creek). I would love to have all concerned on one memorial. Is is possible to merge the two?
Thank you and thanks for what you do!

|Lanny Ottosen||Joseph Howell Boydston|
I'm researching this person for a book I'm working on about a confederate camp where Joseph mustered into the Texas CSA 17th infantry.
I own a copy of Domonoske's Boydston book. The first issue. In it is a photo of Joseph. I'm trying to locate who may have the original I'd this photo.
I would suspect a descendant of Joseph would be likely to have it.
Have you ever come across the photo?

As far as I know I am not related. I was visiting my mother and took pictures of most of the tombstones at McArthur and several at another cemetery. I have not added them all yet. There were so many that were not set up that I stopped adding pictures and added names and dates. I may have pictures of the Wrotens and Willie Bond that I haven't gotten to yet.
How do you do a transfer?
I set up the names and dates with a spreadsheet. Is there an easy way to add pictures. It is taking me forever to do one at a time.
Was I suppose to leave a public message or is there another way?

I saw the grave info on John Lawler Long and noted that Louisiana Long came from Tennessee. I have been trying to locate information on a Dr. Long who lived in the Knox County Tenn in 1820's and 1830's'
On sparse records I have found he is listed as W. Long or James Long. He had a son with his first wife named Billy so he may have been William. His second wife was Elizabeth or Betty Baldwin who died about 1835, and had one son, John W. Long. His 3rd wife was Mary Ann had two sons Alex and Jim Long. He may have practiced into the 70's or 80's in the Knoxville area. His first son Billy had a wife Polly who was a midwife. Billy and his wife left the Knoxville area about 1841. Dr Long died in 1882. I did not know if there may be some records of doctors who practiced in the Knoxville area. Any help would be appreciated. He is my mother's earliest known relative. thanks James W Cook MD Rev John W. Long who married Easter Malinda Rapp is my second oldest ancestor, his son. They are both buried in Harmony Cemetery in Parker Co. Texas along with W. Long who is listed as his father.
Dr. Long-----------------W. Long or James Long--maybe James W. Long 10 Dec 1806 to 10 Oct 1882
