H T and Victoria Parr
Hi -- You have H T (#21773561)and Victoria (#21773636)Parr in the Waelder Community Cemetery. They are buried in the cemetery next door in the Waelder Cemetery. They are my husband's gggrandparents. We have created memorials for them in the correct cemetery H.T.(#112724966) and Victoria(#112726315). Would you please remove them from the Waelder Community Cemetery because they are not buried in that cemetery? Thank you for your help. Sandy Parr

You are welcome.
No, I'm not related. Just a Texas history buff who ran across the interesting article and wanted to share it.

Suzanne, Both of the Parrs are buried in the Waelder Cemetery known on Findagrave as Waelder City Cemetery. I have added them to the correct cemetery. Would you please delete both of them from the Community Cemetery.

Suzanne, the only tomb in Ballard Cemetery that could be his is the one I photographed UNLESS one of the unmarked graves is his. Right beside the one I photographed is a Mrs. N. M. Lee. I only live a mile from the cemetery so if you need me to go take more pix I can. Karen

Hiram Tilman and Victoria Carpenter Parr

I'm new to this and I hope I am doing this the correct way.

Hirman Tilman and Victoria Parr are not in the Waelder Community Cemetery. They are in the Waelder Cemetery next door.

The names of the Waelder cemeteries are confusing.

Thank you,

RE: Re: Vera Phillips Brace Monument
You're welcome! I sent some links to your email address, so if you don't see an email from me, check your spam file. I'll be happy to transfer Clara and her husband to you, if you want.

Re: Vera Phillips Brace Monument
You're very welcome, Suzanne. Clara Phillips Harris (# 108459420) and her husband Lee Roy Harris are also in that plot and I posted photos for them and linked Clara to her parents, Samuel and Leota. The marker of Vera Brace is beside Clara's marker and they are in front of the Phillips headstone. I will send you a link to the plot record and and also a link to an obit for Leota Phillips that is included in her burial application record. I'll see if there are any more obits and send those, too.

A Footstep In Time
My name is Donna Hinton Warke. I saw your question about Lee DNA. I am the Great Granddaughter of Martha Eva Lee from Bienville Parish, Louisiana. I have been updating my tree for a upcoming Lee Reunion for the descendents of John Harrison Lee next month and am presently working on the family of Tobitha Lee Taylor, 2nd cousin 4 times removed. My brothers DNA is R1b. I noticed last year at the reunion while comparing trees online with Lee cousins that their Lee DNA was also R1b.
I hope this information can be useful to you.
Have a wonderful day and happy hunting.
Your Lee cousin,

Hi Suzanne - I'm out at Parkdale on occasion and will continue to look for your Reese stone. I'll be sure to post them on this site if/when I'm able to find them.

Thanks - Jeff

I forgot I also found Mary Irene 1911-1986, Sam Ray 196-1988. and Alvin Ray 1928-199. Sorry it was on my next page of notes or I would have left only one message. Thanks. Jen

I need the plot info for Mary and Richard. You can call the cemetery at 817 275-2711. You can either be family or friend. Make sure you tell them you want the info for Parkdale. Thanks. Jen. The only Reese that I found was a Boyd Reese 1869-1929.

RE: S. E. Phillips' grave
Suzanne, You are no bother at all. I am always glad to help when I can. I finally deciphered the name Crunk on the stone in the photo, so I searched for Cemeteries of Cherokee County Texas (woodell site)and found the survey for Afton-Grove Vinson(Tilley) Cemetery and lo and behold, Lucy Crunk was there. There are other sites but this is a good one. Again, if I can be of help to you in any way, let me know. Jim

RE: S. E. Phillips' grave
Suzanne, I am sorry but a Lamont Rowley created the memorial for S E Phillips. Maybe you can get him to correct the dates or better still transfer the memorial to you. In the meantime you can view the pictures there at S E's memorial. Upon further research the other rock grave apparently belongs to a Lucy or Nancy Crunk; her memorial created by Danco. You can view the pictures there also. If I ever come across Willis's parents grave or see their names in researching other cemeteries, I will definitely get back in touch with you. Good luck, Jim

RE: Picture of Willis Phillips Headstone
Suzanne, You are very welcome. I also took a picture of a flat stone on top of Willis Phillip's grave. It had the name S E Phillips carved in it. Also, there is an almost identical rock grave nearby, but I couldn't make out much of the carved words. Jim

Ellis Lee Aldridge
It was my pleasure to photo Ellis' stone. I see that you have a request in for the Ballard Cemetery in Fayette County. I plan to do some photos in Fayette County in about a month or so and if the request is still up, I will definitely try and get it for you. If you need any other photos in the area, just let me know and I will be happy to help you. Take care and God Bless you and your family.
