RE: Polly Mary Davis Case
Hi Cousin,

Samual and Polly Case are also my direct line. They were my 4th Great Grandparents. Not sure where I found my information but it is obviously incorrect. If it's not too much trouble, could you email me a cophy of the information you have?

Also, I am missing Polly's Great Grand Parents and beyond. Do you have any of that information?

Am also missing Samual's mothers side of the family. Any information there?

I am related to the Cases through my mother's side of the family. Would love to visit with you about family history.

rl32445@windstream.net

Thanks

Hey, Marilyn!

I didn't know you'd be the volunteer who responded to my request for a photo of Cordelia's headstone! Thanks for letting me know she doesn't have one. Since you're related to her--do you know her parents' names, or the names of any siblings? Had the volunteer not been you, I was going to ask about knowledge of the paternity of my former father-in-law...but that's ground we've covered before! Hope you're doing well--and surviving the Florida heat--or were you smart enough to go North for part of the summer?

RE: John Drummond, Evergreen Cem in Everett
Marulyn - there is no visible marker for John Drummond. If he was in WWII, we can order a marker for him. I am not sure if family has to order one, but will find out.

I will also verify again there is no marker, as have several friends working with me to photograph this cemetery. I posted a picture of his grave, but there is no marker that I could find. The description of burial place is Block 40, Lot S3' N6' 34. Which makes no sense to me - south 3 feet then north 6 feet. Why didn't they say north 3 feet? I will check with the cemetery office.

Are you still in Putnam Co. By any chance?? I hope to visit there next year and check out cemeteries in Hendricks and Putnam Co - Harvey Franklin (1872-1926) buried in New Maysville Cem. Still searching that line of my Franklins, so possibly more buried around there.

Still searching for my 3rd great grandfa 2nd wife, Susannah Hensley Spangler Franklin, who was also my 3rd great grandmother. Ha! Difficult to figure out and took almost 30 years. But Susanna died around 1872. The family (David and Susannah Franklin) were living in Gill, Sullivan, IN in 1870. So hope to visit and sort thru records this next year.

Fun!! There is never enough time to research records.

Hi Marilyn-

I will be going to the cemetery Monday to check records, but it may be too late for your request, but hoping not. We just finished school and I had to pack up the room, an unexpected event! If the request goes off, I will fill it Monday night. Just wanted you to know.

Uncle Al
RE: Simon Russell
I can't find my original edit request, but I suspect I screwed up information about Simon's father.

For the record, Rev Abner Russell (#61749343) was the father of Simon Gideon Russell (#93718070) and Samantha Seward Russell (#61749352) was Simon's mother.

Cyrenus Zadock Russell (#64247448) was Simon's older brother.

I apologize for the confusion!

BTW, are you related to this family? C.Z. Russell was my great-grandfather and Abner was my g-g-grandfather. I;d be interested to know if we're cousins. Thanks!

Marilyn, Thanks so much for responding regarding these photo requests--I didn't know there were no gravesites to photograph! Hope things are going well for you in your continued research...I'm still looking for the father of my father-in-law, James Robert McCloud, Sr. (Harrison Edgar McCloud's grandson), but still no luck. Take care! Kathy McCloud

Hi Marilyn,
I'm uploading the headstone photos for Letta and Henry Finley. I do need to tell you that the markers are damaged and are hard to read.
I've also added the headstone photo of Florina Finley Spelling (1883-1957) who is buried next to Letta in space #3.

Hi, Marilyn! I'm researching my grandson's family, and in so doing, came across a duplication. The other memorial is #8098336, created Nov 17, 2003 by Velma Dalton. Are you able to merge these two memorials? Yours has the more detailed information. Also, I have a question about the family that you may be able to answer; I will email you. Thank you!

RE: William Frazee
Wm. Frazee was my husband's 5th great grand uncle. My husband has passed at this time, but I do feel connected to Wm. as we were given the letter he wrote in 1837 and pictures of him and his wife (we believe) and I went and found his grave in Indiana in 1979 on a trip up there. If you are not related I would appreciate the transfer. Actually we found the letter in an old trunk belong to his grandmother after she passed. Thank you, Lee Pierson
