Martha Jane Ballard
Hey Barbara, I'm trying to locate photos of Martha Jane Ballard. I was wondering if you have any? She's my 3rd Great Grandmother. Thanks for your time.

RE: Virginia Rickman
I reported him to edit@findagrave.com. People who refuse all edits only wind up forcing people to make duplicates to link people up. Nothing has been done about him so far. Why he even posts memorials if he doesn't want to help people find their relatives/ancestors is beyond me. Seems to be just so he can argue with people. He has deleted the daughter and reposted her in order to erase my flowers/comments. I think there were grave pics that volunteers took that have been deleted along with the memorials deleted. People should not be allowed to delete memorials with grave pics added. donna

RE: Wilson Family
Thanks for the response. Actually, Wright (Bubba) is my 3rd Great as well. Son Pinkey, son Marion, Dad Robert B. Not sure where that puts us as far as cousins, distant but kin!
Based on your tree and reply, you're at a dead end on Mary E as well. Someone put Lambert (?) but have not tried very hard to track it down.
I seem to be getting to dead ends on all branches in early 1800's or mid 1700's. Having fun but frustrating!
Regardless, thanks for the info and the effort you put in to get me to this point, Bob.

Thanks
Barbara, I am new at this but am enjoying tracing my family. I keep running across your tree as it relates to my family and adding info without having to "dig" to deep.
I am interested in how we may be related, since there is a connection, apparently.
I am a Wilson, tracking back so far to John Wright and Mary E, in williamsburg county.
Regardless, many thanks for all your work, it has made the effort back to the early 1800's much easier than it would have been. Bob.

About our babies
Barbara, I so appreciate your offer and hope to take advantage of it. However , I need to get my computer up and running again to do it. This is only borrowed. Lol. I got sick of repairing it and will be buying a new one this month. Barbara, are you not connected to the Dittemore family? If I am wrong, I know I have talked to you at some time about family. I,m just getting old and confused. Ha ha. Guess I should never even joke about it. I will be back in touch with you. Linda

Our pets
Barbara, while I was writing a message I read the one on you dog. Barbara, I wish I knew how you put that up on your "face page". I have my precious dogs attached to a memorial too. They however look like my children and I put "Pet" attached to their names. I am as crazy about my pets as you and I miss them so much. Now I don't feel so foolish about what I did when I find someone else!! Thanks

Linda (Dittemore & Yeakley)

William Grant Randall
Hello Ms. Barb,
Yes, it's me. I noticed that you have William
buried at Chance and Marcia Henderson has him buried at Stilwell.
I'm sure it is the same person but we need to know which is correct.
Have you met Marcia?
This part of the family is so hard to find with the different spellings.

Thanks,
Your cousin,
Ray

Yes, you are my cousin, if only by marriage.

William Case edit
Hi Barbara,
Perhaps William's mother was EMily Parris as my bio reflects but the name of Lou Jones on DC might be father's second wife perhaps?

I've linked William to spouse and father but want to go back and research further my source on mother's name.
Would be good if you use the edit for relationship links that take you directly to that memorial. it helps. thanks!

M Butler / C Butler
Hi there, I really hesitate to link them.. they were married for many years, but not to each other at the time of their deaths. In fact he was married to another lady named Mary when he died. Neither of their obituaries mentioned the other.

take care,

B Fuller

Crook Family
Hi! I went ahead and transferred the family to you… even if the relation is distant.. it's more than me! They are buried next to a photo request I was hunting that day and snapped the pictures in case they were family. It makes better sense that family holds their memorials. Take care! Dana

Hi Barbara!
Thanks for the updates to the Crook memorial! If you are in any way related, I'd be glad to transfer her to your care… I'm not related at all. Just let me know! Blessings, Dana

Keith Garvin
John Rickman
Thank You so much for your memorial to John Rickman who was killed in World War I. I am Keith Garvin who is the son of Clifford C Garvin. Clifford Garvin was the step son of Essie Standiford Rickman Garvin. She was married to my grandfather James Lasalle Garvin. I am on Ancestry.com and I have several memorials to relatives on Find A Grave. Do you know where Essie Standiford is buried ? I found last year James L Garvin's grave. I was only 4 years old when he died in 1950. Again, thanks for your work on Find A Grave. Keith Garvin
