Old White Church Cemetery
Hello, I took some pictures today at the Old White Church Cemetery Lincoln Co. NC. I have the one for Mary W Alexander #112022069
and for Wille K Alexander #112028863
You can now connect Mary and Willie's with those numbers. They're is also a smaller headstone that was not readable. It is connected to these. Would you like me to add it to one of these so you can look at it?
Thanks,
Sherry

Re: Emelia Landrum-Griffin

Hi and thanks for your response. Emelia was the aunt of my gr grandfather Gabriel Landrum of Alabama and Jefferson Co., Beaumont, TX. Her sister Charlotte "Lotty" Landrum also lived in Beaumont. I wrote a book on them in 1989 and have a revised edition finished now.
Ok, I would be happy if you want to transfer her memorial and her husband Gilbert Asbury Griffin also. Their daughter Charlotte is already listed in Union as well as some of their other children.
Thanks,
Kathryn

Deviney Cemetary
LoRetta, is it possible to get permission to visit the Deviney Cemetary? I'm visiting from Florida & would like to visit John McFarland's grave. I've heard in the past that the cemetary is on private land but I don't know if that is correct.

Byars connection?
Hi Ms. Hughes,

There is a Danny Wayne Byars buried at Sharon Memorial Cemetery in Charlotte N.C., as well as the Dorothy Byars-Caldwell. Do you know of a family connection between the two? I'm trying to find the parents of Danny.

Thank you,
Christi Crawford-Partee

I love reading the stories that were handed down from our ancestors. My direct ancestor was Barbara, Maria's sister. I have just gotten back to researching this side of my family and am finding some things that I need more information before I can be sure I have the right people., so I will keep searching. Thanks again for posting this information. Debbie Bell

I am looking for the maiden name of Hannah-1716 (married to David Watson). I notice that most people on Ancestry, including you, list her as Hughes. I can find no documentation on it, however. If you don't mind sharing, I would love to know where the information came from. I am a Watson with a father from Benton,Arkansas, tracking back to SC, and possibly both Scotland and Ireland. I'm in the process of trying to untangle the threads now. Thanks. Paula Watson Bonin

RE: Rev. Ezekiel Hogue
How can I find your tree on ancestry.com? I would love to look at it, is it Public or Private? Thank you for answering me. I just thought you would appreciate another source for research info that's why I told you about Bettye Hogue Bond as she has so much on that line, I have been trying to verify and some it is correct and some is not. I am one of those people who trys very hard to verify all my info if I can.
Thanks,
Tootz

Hi again LoRetta,
Thanks for your response to my 2nd e-mail. Did you get a chance to read the 1st one. I asked several questions like are you related to the Hogue family etc. When you can and if you are willing could you please read it and answer my other questions?
Thanks again,
Tootz
