If so, I have not found them.....Wayne is a 5th cousin to me, I have been trying to connect my Hinton side in MI.....his dad is Glen Leroy Helmer & mom is Mina G. Good.....another family member has taken photos of some headstones & posted them to ancestry but no Find A Grave pgs that I can find.....also in Wayne's obit, his grandmother is Carrie L. Price - Helmer who mom is Olive Rosemond Hinton - Price 1893 - 1938 & dad: Roswell Leroy Price 1852 - 1935 / Glen's mom Carrie died at age 21Y from TB, she had Glen in 1901 & son Russell Adelbert Helmer in 1902, after she died, their dad married Georgia Heminger who raised the 2 boys along with the children she & Arthur Eugene Helmer had..... RE: Warren Wismer

I'm happy to oblige. Yes I took the picture while in Italy for our 50th Wedding anniversary, we were there for a month.
The Memorial Hall is well done, giving dignity to the purpose.

HI. That would be fine if you want to transfer them to me. John was Sally and Ephraim Dailey's son. Sally remarried on 25 Oct 1848 to Gilbert Hunt....I assume Ephraim died. I descend from Sally & Ephraim's son, Oliver Dailey and Margaret Melissa (Anway) Dailey. Thank you. I have no more info on Sally or Ephraim's parents. We got her surname from a family Bible but that was as far back as it went (unfortunately).

Hi Alan.... I'm sorry for the long delay in responding, I'm still learning all the ins and outs of find a grave and just found your message. :(

Yes, my husband Rick Ainsworth, is the gggrandson of Robert Ainsworth through Robert's son Fred.

Robert had 4 wives. First wife Katie Letts died young leaving Robert with 3 young children to care for. Mariah was wife #2, she however died in childbrith - child also died. Margaret was the 3rd wife and the "grandma" that the children and grandchildren knew. 4th wife was Julia.

thank you for your willingness to transfer Robert and Mariah over to me. I appreciate it!

Thank you for posting the information on the Graichen family buried there. Heinrich Graichen and Ernestine Graichen nee Scheffler are my great great grandparents. I have yet to visit the cemetery, or even Michigan, but do hope to one day.

RE: John Dailey 1838-1872
Hi Alan,

Obviously, I made a mistake, as your John Paul Dailey was born before Thomas Jefferson Dailey, so there's no connection.

(It took me a bit of back tracking to figure this out because I have also made another memorial for a Thomas Jefferson Daily, birthdate similar and living in Allegan co...but I think I've figured it out now.)

C. Eileen Dodge
RE: Hezekiah Dodge
Hi, Alan -

No, I am not related to Hezekiah Dodge - my husband, Norman Dodge is president of the Dodge Family Association, I am the secretary.

We are retired and spend our time helping others finding and researching their Dodge genealogy as well as contributing to Find A Grave and keeping Dodge genealogy databases that have more than 110,000 names.

I cannot tell you who Frederick Dodge is precisely - I don't have his birth, marriage, death dates and places, nor do I have that type of information for Elizabeth Corbin.

But I do know he and Elizabeth Corbin are the parents of Hezekiah Dodge, due to Hezekiah's death record in Michigan - it clearly states Hezekiah was born in New York and the names of his parents.

RE: Sallie Hunt / Sarah Brownell
Hello Alan,

I am not a direct descent of John Dailey. I descend from his brother, Oliver Dailey. Oliver and his wife Margaret Melissa (Anway) Dailey are also buried there in Lakeside cemetery, Lk Odessa. According to a family Bible, Oliver and John's parent's names were Ephraim Dailey and Sarah (Sally) Brownell. That is the only evidence I have of Sarah's last name. Ephraim is listed on the death certificate of several of his children (they had eight children).

I have no particular feeling one way or another about having memorials transferred. Doesn't really matter to me. I enjoy finding ancestors on this site!! I've been to Lake Odessa numerous times thru my life and many of the Dailey's also lived (and buried) in Clarksville.

I do live in MI...cold wintry Traverse City. :)
Thank you.

GPS would be best. I don't know when I will be able to get up there again, but I should be able to find it with a GPS. Thanks for the information.
