Dean Wolbach
Photo perported to be Lewis
Dear Connie;

Please think about removing the photograph you have at this location for Lewis J Green. This cannot be Lewis J Green. Photography was not yet invented. Not until the 1850s.

There are several others here.

RE: :Ella Rebecca Howard
I am having to correct my posting on Ella Howard Skeens.
My documentation from a long time ago had Ella and Oscar being in Waring Cemetery, whereas it has become clear from Ella's application to the government for a headstone for Oscar on his findagrave entry actually puts him in Warren Cemetery.

RE: Infant Adkins in Shell Fork Cemetery , Greenup, Ky.
You will have to look Raccoon up in the county seat library in Greenup. I would guess, sense that's what the death certificate states, that it is also known as Raccoon, or else someone changed their minds before burial.

Message # 2 I see now that there is a Shells Fork, A Lawhorn, then a combined Shells Fork/Lawhorn cemetery in Greenup county. If they are all the same, you need to either have them merged or, if there are no names in a cemetery, Findagrave can just delete it for you.
Thank you again.

Infant Adkins in Shell Fork Cemetery , Greenup, Ky.
Dear Connie, Thank you for all of your information.

I have moved her to the requested Lawhorn cemetery from Shells Fork. B-U-T----what should have happened here would be to go to the Forum to the Cemetery Fix option and ask them to merge the two cemeteries, and add the following: Shells Fork, AKA Lawhorn cemetery, AKA Raccoon Cemetery.

This usually takes them about a month.
Thanks again.

Michele
Marinda J Workman Green
Hi Connie,

Marinda Green is buried in the Barker Green Cemetery with her husband. It is located on the Emory Stevens farm in Elliott County. Unfortunately, the headstones are extremely weathered and unreadable.

Thanks, Michele

Where you the one who created Old Wall9ns Creek Cemetery? I now have directions and a complete listing of who is buried there after my trip to Harlan County.

Mary Benedict Grindol
Bennett photo Memorial #36679305
I removed it. As I remember, it was the only Bennett stone found in that cemetery. Must be Thad is buried without a stone.

William Wellington Green Sr
Hi, for anyone who is interested I am trying to make all the connections in the James Green Jr. Family to his kids & beyond. I sure could use any real document that shows that William Wellington Green Sr. is James Green Jr's child. I need something like a birth certificate or a death certificate with ww's fathers name on it too. Maybe a will that James had giving WW something. That is considered a legal doc. Or I guess any kind of doc that has both their names. Maybe the family Bible??
transfer of land, maybe a letter from James to his son. Please if anyone can help I sure would appreciate some copies.
James Gr. Jr. is my 3rd Gr-Grand Father and William Wellington Sr. is my 2nd. It then goes to my Great Grandfather James'Blind Jim" Green and his son Charles Oscar Green, his daughter, my mother Alphia Green (Hendricks) and me Sue Hendricks (Woods)
Thanks
Sue Woods
