Elisha James Geer + wife
Cliff--I serve as the Geer family Assoc. historian. Looking at the latest ancestry.com entries on this family--I see you have photos of Elisha and his wife. Are these yours? Did you acquire the images for some other researcher? I am also interested in Elisha's middle name. I didn't have that. Do you know the source of James? Also I had Martha Mondoon. Where did you get the Murdoch, which sounds more like a surname to me.
Eager to hear back from you.l

Delphi Cemetery stone
Thank you for posting a picture of my son's grave stone. I can only see it from the sky on google maps as I am in Texas now and his grave is in the Delphi Pioneer Cemetery in Washington. My son died in 1994. He was 17 and rode dirt bike in those hills all the time as we lived near that cemetery. Thank you so much!

THANKS, Cliff, for the pics of Elisha & Martha. Luv those additions ! I wonder if you would mind annotating photo uploads as to their source and/or URL location. Folks have been emailing for that info.

Elmer Woolhiser
I took a photo today of Elmer Woolhiser's tombstone (Grave Memorial# 45555643). The cememtery registry listed the following for Elmer: b. 1853 d. 1874. The photo of the tombstone is hard to read and I tried to rub off some of the mold. What I can make out:
b. 7 (month?) 1853 d. 5 Sept 1874

Are you sure Charles Hepburn is buried in Glencoe cemetery in Dodge County, Nebraska? I found transcriptions of all the graves that was done some years ago and that Hepburn is not listed there.

RE: Betsey C Candee Perkins
Hi Cliff,
Went to the library this morning & can confirm Betsey is at Old Fair Haven Cemetery in Fair Haven, so she's safe to move :)

Also, this is what it says in the book:
South Section row 11:
Betsey C. Perkins, wife of Roger, died 4/15/1834, age 63
her dau., Nancy Perkins, died 4/10/1839, age 42
------ Perkins, died 6/2/1849, age 15 (top of stone is gone)

Hope that info is helpful!

RE: Betsey C Candee Perkins
Hi Cliff,
Old Fair Haven Cemetery is the name given to it by the VT Old Cemetery Association, but like so many cemeteries it seems to go by different names (and of course there is no sign!). Anyway, I'll definitely verify that for you on my next library visit & will let you know for sure :)

Betsey C Candee Perkins
Hi Cliff,
For Betsey

http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GScid=824620&GRid=52080870&df=30&

I believe you have her in the wrong cemetery. I'm a short walk from West Street Cemetery in Rutland. I see what looks like a stone wall in the background, and there aren't any there, just a wire fence & lots of run down buildings. She is also not on the transcription for there.
I see Betsey was born in Fair Haven. I bet you that you were actually after Old Fair Haven Cemetery

http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=cr&CRid=2277489

which is located on WEST STREET in Fair Haven. If that's what you meant, can you move her over there? If you aren't sure, let me know, and sometime in the next week or so when I make a visit to the library I can check the Fair Haven cemetery book to verify :)
~Jen~
