Love your comments about "hoarding" memorials. I, too, have run into a couple of people more concerned with numbers than with linking parents, children, etc. and getting generally huffy about their memorials. If I have created or have management of any of your relatives and/or friends (and they are not related to me or my good friends), let me know and I'll kindly transfer to you. Thanks for all you do on Find A Grave.

Betty Keith
Betty's memorial has been transferred to your care. I am so glad a family member was able to find the memorial. Sorry for the delay in transferring the memorial. I have been ill as of late.

Helen Rausch
Hi ~ I'm transferring Helen Rausch over to you because I see you've got another Rausch in the same cemetery. I had to send you a quick note, though, to tell you how much I like your bio...and I know exactly who you are referring to. Very concise and very eloquent! Robin

Hey Papa Randy, you are always welcome to any transfers of family and friends from me. Merry Christmas my friend. John

Thank you for your dedicated work on this site. I too have been denied family transfers by someone who seems to care a lot about numbers rather than memorializing loved ones.

I got on this site for no other reason than genealogy. But when I encountered members like yourself I decided to pay it forward and contribute.

Thanks again for your hard work and continue the great work you're doing for future generations.

Best regards,

Hi,Randy - You're more than welcome re Callie's sponsorship...I always hope that the little heart by a name will bring even another visitor or two that person's way, and from there, they'll read through your other pages. =) Take good care, and we'll talk again - Hugs, RCP and Gannon Blue

Your Memorial Pages =)
Hi, I just wanted to take a second and tell you how fascinating your memorial pages are! Your care and hard work in categorizing them, etc. is great - believe me, there are those who do appreciate the ones on here who may not have a staggering amount of pages which are basically just endless statistics...but rather, stories about people who are made real. I write for a living, and I have got to tell you, I could write a dozen books from just what I have already linked through on your again, Thank You. When I read your comment about some folks not really wanting to play nice and sit at the same lunch table, I can identify - I get ignored on IMMEDIATE family, all of the time. Sigh. Take good care - Best, RCP and Gannon Blue

Transfer of Memorials
I, too, have had a contributor deny transfer of a family member and this denial separated twins!!
In fact, this same contributor denied transferring the husband of an aunt (I have the memorials for the aunt and one of their two sons - other still living - and their only daughter but not the husband). I realize this transfer request was not in the direct guidelines of Find A Grave but you would think a family should be kept together and I have a vested interest in the genealogical research rather than just accumulating memorials to become "one of the top contributors".
This contributor does not even check her facts since I have found several mistakes under her memorials which she should have been able to correct before establishing the actual memorial.

Transferring Memorials
I can't believe that someone wouldn't transfer a memorial to you because of "numbers" except that I have had it happen, too. I never knew there was something special about having more numbers. I thought we were all in this to help other genealogists. Sigh.
