|Silence Dogood||Jacob L. McDonald & Wife Minnie|
Are you related to my 3rd Great Grandparents, Jacob LaRue McDonald, Jr. and his wife Minnie? If not, can you please transfer control of their memorials over to me? I have a little bit of info. I would like to add.

Thank you so much for taking the photo of the Nowell plot even though there is no tombstone. I appreciate it a lot. Do you know if anyone else is buried in the Nowell plot with Edgar?
Thanks, again for doing this.

|Bill Stephens||topeka cemetery section and lot maps|
I see that you have posted volunteer photos at the Topeka Cemetery.
Now that they are under new management I have been able to get good quality section maps of all 96 sections and have posted them at
You can print copies of the maps from that site. I added a link to the cemetery database where you can look up names and find the section/lot info. This should make the job easier for us volunteers.

I totally understand. Christopher Bergen, Alvira's husband, is the brother of my Great Grandmother Mary Ellen Bergen. I do believe we are distant relatives. God Bless

Hi Nancy . . .
Thanks for adding the credit line. When I give credit on my pages, I use the contributor's full name and contributor number as listed on their personal page. That way, if anyone wants to contact them they have the information available to do so.
Have a good weekend . . .

|lenasachs||#2 RE: Arnetta Joy|
I wrote the original obituary information, if that makes a difference.
And please let me know if I interpreted the Find A Grave rules incorrectly. I was of the understanding it was ok to list living family members if the obituary date and publish site were given, which I neglected to do since the memorial had more detailed information from family than what was in the original obit. I also noticed under Protecting the Rights of Living Family Members that the names of living family members are to be removed if requested.
Any assistance you can give me on this would be very much appreciated. I am wanting to submit family-type info on several other folks and dont want to mess up and not have the info added. My only goal is to give a tiny glimpse into the life of the person.

|lenasachs||RE: Arnetta Joy|
The obituary ran in the June 27, 1987 Topeka Capital Journal. Some of the information I sent you was in the original obit, but the majority of it is family knowledge, such as her living with her aunt and uncle, where they lived in Topeka, camping with grandchildren, etc. She was my mother-in-law, so the info is first hand. The only people living who might need removed are the names of her children. Her husband, aunt and uncle and siblings are all deceased. I just thought it would be nice to include personal info on her.

|CEM||RE: Stout Family|
I'm going to have to work on this. Jessie Marple is still listed in 1900 census with her parents as a servant girl. There is a Nancy Shonkwiler listed as dying in the flood also with the Stout family, could also be her grandma, if I have the grandma's last name misspelled. Will have to look at all the headstones and see if something makes sense. Who is the Marcie/ Margie listed on the Jessie headstone? Was that actually James wife? and Jessie was the servant? and the newspapers got it all wrong? Jessie Marple birthdate is correct as April 12, 1876. THANKS! My info came from Jessie's sisters.
Will work on this!
