RE: Wenzel Dietz
Ok. Thanks. I don't recall my exact question, but my Joseph Dietz was indeed in Livingston County, IL, just wondering where he was before that.

I received your edits and they are processed. I would be glad to transfer the memorials to you if they are your family in any way. No one takes better care of family than family!! Send me an edit for those you want. Thanks! Jill

Wenzel Dietz
I noticed that you were the creator of the memorial for Wenzel Dietz in Lake Co., IL. I have been trying to trace back our Joseph Dietz to when he came across the ocean. I found a passenger list (so many Joseph and John Dietz') that fits with my Joseph Dietz whose father's name was John. The passenger list shows them arriving in NY in 1868 on the ship named Gessner. It shows a John, Elizabeth, Joseph, and Wenzel Dietz. Age of Joseph (19) fits in with my Joseph who was born 4 Oct. 1850 in Germany. I am wondering if you know anything about your Wenzel Dietz family. My Joseph first was in LaSalle Co. IL and then moved down to Livingston Co., IL.

Roland Fuson
Hi, just wanted to let you know that I found the gravesites of Roland L Fuson and Mary L Pine. They are buried on the side of CR 1350N in Clark County (the road across from the Lincoln Trail St Park entrance) I was coming back from Zion Cemetery and the collection of graves to the side of the road caught my eye so I stopped to document them. Will be putting them up today as the Low Cemetery since that is the oldest surname there.

Edward Atzel, et. al.
Hi! Photos posted for Edward Atzel. The lot he is buried on is not very scenic. I wish there is something I could have done to make the area look better.

Also there:
Katie Atzel: 1893 - 1969
Florence Hurley: Jun. 16, 1911 - Feb. 17, 1993
Harry L. Hurley: Oct. 20, 1906 - Feb. 22, 1951
Irvin Pehlke: 1899 - 1976
Katie Pehlke: 1871 - 1945
Charles Pehlke: 1859 - 1920

If you create the memorials (if needed) and add the photo requests I will post the photos for you. Ace

John Fuson
Hello, i thought i would tell you that John Fuson married again in 04 Aug 1865 to Nancy James. Nancy and him had 3 more children, John changed his last name to Fuston when he married again. Ahh, and there is another memorial under his last name of Fuston. Thx, DeWitt

Hi! When I found the graves of Mary and William Krieman, I found several other Kriemans in that same area that have no memorial pages; I thought I'd ask (I'm going through all my photos here...):

Charles W. 7/21/32-10/15/'04 PFC Army Korea
Walter A. 1900-1952
Myrtle A. 1906-1957
Louis Walter 1/31/26-12/30/67 S. Sgt AF Korea

Let me know if any of these are helpful.

Sophie Schultz
Hi! I spent all day today walking (3 times!) through St. Peter's cemetery in Skokie, IL where you have a request for the grave of Sophie Schultz. There is absolutely no grave with that name on it but I did find Sophie F. Schultz (1889-1965)who was buried next to a Gottfied Schultz (1877- 1970). Don't know if this is in any way helpful? I have pics of these headstones if you want them, let me know. I'll keep them until I hear from you. Thanks!

RE: Brunner
You are welcome! I have finished taking photos from that entire half of the cemetery, and I do have photos of more Brunners. I don't know if they are already on findagrave or not, but I will be posting them hopefully within the next several days.

Did You see the Brunner stone that I posted that did not have a first name? Listed simply as "Brunner".

I believe there are more Brunners throughout the cemetery, and I will get to them also, as soon as I am able. Its a job that takes ALOT longer than I thought it would! Very satisfying, though...

I have entered his memorial to view headstone photo per your message, but I am unable to view headstone photo. I have contacted the member who placed the photo on my memorial, asking her assistance in allowing everyone to view the photo. I get a message that says I do not have permission to view the thumbnail photo. Hopefully I hear from the photographer soon. Thanks for the information.

RE: Goedke
Thanks for being in touch. Did you receive my email with the photo's attached? The cemetery requested that I not post the photos but that I supply them directly to the families.

Wilhelmina (Mathwich) Aschbrenner
I see that you wanted a photo of her stone on Trinity in Town of Berlin. I was at the Marathon County Library and looked in the Inscriptions book index of cemeteries. She was buried at Friedenshain in the Town of Berlin, not Trinity. I was there a few months back and nevery found her at Trinity, that is why I checked in the Library. Well, we went to Friedenshain today and didn't find her there. There were Mathwich and Aschbrenner plots and a few empty spaces where stones might have been. Next time I go back to the library, I will look who was buried near her. I just forgot today since I was doing my own research and happened to come across your Aschbrenner. However I did get this...She was born 14 Feb 1817 and died 19 Apr 1899. That was in the library. So maybe that can help you in the time being till I get there again.

Caroline Matthews/Chapel Hill West
I have been to the office twice and they tell me there is no record of Caroline Matthew at their cemetery. If you have any other information, I would be happy to go back. I had them look under her husbands name and still nothing. If you know who owned the plot and maybe it could be under their name, or if you knew the section/plot# from a family member, then I could try to find out more. If you get more info let me know.
thanks - Linda

Howard Mueller
Fred & Katherine Kaegebein
I was given the burial spot because of being family, but could not locate a gravestone. I forgot to ask if there was one before I left the office. From my records Katherine died young and her son was only a teenager and when Fred died their son was about 25. Maybe he did not know what to do or that. Location is Section 20 plot 6A right near the corner by the mainentance area.

Plot Edited for 93433873
Thanks for the info. Should you need me to transfer any memorial for names in the cemetery, please let me know. Have a wonderful day.

You requested a William Fuson at Olive Branch, of which I was unable to locate. Is there possibly a Mary J Fuson died January 19,1869 that you may know of.

RE: Volling/Voelling
Thank you so much. It means alot. Do you have the information that should be added by any chance? I believe one of the details was:

Born in Germany to Johann Joaquim Christopher Voelling and Johanna Sophia Gilow. Married to Wilhelmena Caroline Charlotte Hillman 14 Feb 1877 in Russells Grove, Illinois.

If there is anything to be added, please let me know. This means more than you'll ever know.

I have a large problem at Memory Gardens. They are not easy to deal with, and only want to give info to relatives. I think this is the reason that requests for Memory Gardens accrue on the list of requests.
So I will take the pictures but you are going to have to help me out with the following:
1. Please call them and ask for the grave location. Be sure it is for your relative, as they have been known to give out the first name that matches. 847-255-1010
2. Ask them if they can fax a map showing the location. Skip this if you do not have a fax machine. I only ask so I do not have to go into the office. They know what I am doing to help my peers and do not like it.
3. Fax or email me a note stating that you are a direct relative of the deceased. If I have that in my hand it will make a challenge easier. I was just telling them I was a direct relative but they caught on to that.
4. I am Del Ulreich at 847.308.5432,, fax 847.398.5432

RE: Photos Jacobs
You are welcome. I also have a photo of the side of the Jacobs stone that has the name of Wilhelmine. If you would like to make her a memorial, I can post the photo.

Also, the Jacobs appear to be related to the Esch family. I have several Esch photos that I just haven't gotten around to posting yet. Do you have any interest in this family too?

I could not locate anyone with the last name of Uebersax on the cemetery information kiosk. The cemetery # is 708-453-0184. Maybe they can assist you with a location.

I was doing a name search for another Find-a-Grave member and had come up with several members of the Schergen family buried in Saint Boniface Cemetery. I was able to locate and photograph several of the marked plots. They are Charles A. (1938), Mamie A. (1955), Marion C. (1986) and the unmarked graves of Peter (interred 9/9/1891) of 1 year old Peter (10/28/1866). All of them are located in Section A, Block 5, Lot 26. There are also 2 other people buried and with headstones in the same lot but with a different name. They are Heinrich (1829-1904) and Helena (1830-1915) Kautenberger.
