RE: Springdale Cemetery
I wish they'd loose it!! They didn't want to use what I wanted to talk about on Soldiers Hill. They already knew what they wanted me to say and I just never felt comfortable during the filming. I love being there on Soldiers Hill though and I love talking to people about it and the first burials on the hill. Lots of 86th boys there. Take care, Baxter

Walker Cemetery, Brimfield IL
I have visited Walker Cemetery several times. Am from Peoria originally but now live in Ohio. Curious whether you are related to the Walkers. A Peoria ancestor married one of Charles and Josephine Snyder Walker's daughters, Mary, who lived in Peoria, but moved to Mass., where she is buried. If you are interested, I have some additional information about Jessie Ruth Walker Smith buried at Walker Cemetery. JGerber

Charlie Bob Key (25732798)entered by Death Certicate...
Read Certificate. This baby was buried in the Cahill Cemtery in Johnson County. Texas you see on this death certificate. His parents are my Uncle and Aunt and I was informed of this error by the sister of this child, Dorothy Key Clowdus. For some reason he is entered into the Evergreen Cemetery in Galveston. This Johnson County Certificate is correct, just entered wrong. Thank you for correcting this.

Hebron cemetery
I'd like to create records for a couple of relatives whose death records show they are buried in Hebron cemetery in Camp Point, Adams, IL. Is this the same Hebron cemetery that is in Golden, IL? I don't see any other "Hebron cemetery" on Find A Grave that is in Adams county.

I don't think we have been in that area. We have been in the small one by the church road side where Rhoda Derry is buried and then the big one that seems to be behind the small one. I should just do the haunted tour sometime, but I use a wheelchair and didn't know how it would work for me. I would appreciate any info. Thanks so much!

RE: Van Tassel and Tull Families
Thank you! I might drive myself crazy first. I know I had Nancy Tull's obit, or an article and now I can't find it.

Van Tassel and Tull Families
Hi Amelia:
Are you related to the Van Tassel and Tull Families? Elvira Van Tassel Loomis was my GGG Grandmother. I am in the process of transcribing obituaries.
Best Regards,
Karen Brewer

My husband and I have been to the Bartonville asylum cemetery a couple of times and can not find the grave of A. Bookbinder. Can anyone give us directions to his grave? Thanks, Barbara

Hi Amelia,

I was wondering if you were related to William O'Malley and his mother Delia Murphy. They are both cousins to me and I would like to talk about this line further. If not, best regards, and thank you for your contribution on findagrave.

Melinda Hiller Dickrell
RE: Owners of Deacon Street?
Thanks, I did try the Historical Society in Pekin and the lady I asked did not make any effort to answer my question. I guess I asked the wrong person. I looked at the most recent burial and contacted that funeral home in Indiana via email. They then let me know the funeral home in Morton to call. They did give me a contact name, but in doing my online search they may have given me the name of someone who was 114 years old, LOL. Anyway, at least I tried everything possible. I think the true owners of that land do not want to be responsible for upkeep and therefore it will be the township's responsibility. I understand, but the gates and some of the stones are in bad conditions. There are descendants of Pilgrims there and early pioneers, so it is just a pitty. Also, when someone calls my Dad to get permission to bury there, he does not know who to call.
