|Mary Raines||photo request for grandmother|
My name is Mary Raines and my Sister Sally Baird are both members of FindAGrave...we love it!...haven't been doing it very long.
My sister made a photo request last july for a photo of our grandmother's grave in Snyder's Chapel cemetery in Harrison, County, Indiana. The request has never been claimed. Her name was Hannah Thorpe, wife of Henry Allen Thorpe.
I noticed that you had added the information on the memorial that she was the wife of H A Thorpe.
Could you be a relative? How did you get that information? Could you possible claim the request and get a grave photo for us?
I live in Florida and my sister lives in Pa.
Any help or information would be so Greatly Appreciated!

Just wondering about David Byerly buried in Chapel Cemetery, Harrison Co, IN. Your entry says that he was the son of David and Mary Byerly. Is that information on the headstone?
I don't know yet if this David is one of my Byerlys, but so many family trees have different parents for him; and I don't trust their information. Just trying to figure things out.

Did you recognize the Sappenfield family that I used your picture for?
I, too, have my family tree on ancestry.com. Also use Fold3 and search a lot on Familysearch.org (the Mormon site)

Do you have a family website that I could link the people that lived & died in Grayson Co., Texas to?
Actually, I just looked _ so many names & places when you are working as large a site as I have to work on (along with the help of my twin sister!)
I looked at my Oakwood Cem @ Whitesboro and find
George Reavis family (b 1853 IN) died & are buried in the Oakwood cemetery @Whitesboro, Grayson Co., Texas
Thanks so much for letting me add these photographs to their tombstone pages; makes the page so much more personal.

Thank you so much for clarifying this for me.I knew the info I had was wrong as it was the same as their marriage and because she couldn't have gave birth to Philip given he was born in 1827.But your proof is good enough for proof for me and not only does it help to get the facts but this also helps to connect those who need her sisters line,which I descend from.So if you would like Christena Ann family I can help you.Thank you for your response Lisa

Just another word of thanks to you for your very excellent photographs of the graves you visited in the Beechwood cemetery. Some of them were very old and abandoned looking. It is a comfort to me that I could again verify names and dates of these people in my tree and add these photographs so that they will that they will never be forgotten. Much gratitude! Friends, Sara
