I saw the edit you sent, but I believe the name is actually McGaully. I have a Clay Co. site (the URL is on my profile page here on Findagrave) and she is listed in the death records and in a short death notice as "McGaully". Also, family trees on Ancestry use this spelling for this family. The name "McGaully" comes up 63 times when I search on the "Clay Center Times" newspaper on Here is her obit, which you are welcomed to add to her site:

"Mrs. Mary Annie McGaully, wife of William McGaully, died at her home in Chapman township, March 10th, aged 28 years, 17 months and 10 days. Mrs. McGaully gave birth to a child about six weeks ago and mother and child seemed to be doing well, but on last Monday evening she was taken suddenly ill. Medical aid was sent for, but to no avail. She continued to grow worse and worse until Saturday afternoon when she passed peacefully away. Mrs. McGaully leaves a husband and eight children to mourn their loss. On Monday at 10 o'clock a large concourse of people gathered at the residence to pay the last tribute of respect to a loved neighbor and friend. The services were conducted by Rev. Jonas Fleet of Manchester. The remains were taken to the cemetery and consigned to the silent tomb. Mr. McGaully and family have the sympathy of the whole community in this their sad bereavement."
Chapman Township, March 14, 1888.

New "Automated" system for "Suggest a Correction/Submit an Edit"

******Please Note******
New System for Memorial Edits deployed by FindAGrave on 12/5/2013

Go to your Contributor/Profile page.
Look in the upper right corner. You should now see a tab called "Edits" - check there to see if any have been submitted to you.
Then just review and accept.

Way easier for doing updates to names / dates / places / plot #s.

You still will get e-mails to add info to bio section or do linking.

Hi Colleen,
So sorry.....I haven't been to findagrave as often I should have.

Carl would have been the oldest son. Some place, I have a photo that includes all of the children. There was also Henry. On the back of the photo I have are all the names.

You can contact me @ more readily than here.

King Family
I am looking for connections to King Family that goes back to Ashfield, Mass. as well as King Family in Hesston, Harvey County, Ks. I photograph all King Plots I run into in cemeteries. I am particularly interested in the Dr. King Family I photographed in Abilene Cemetery. Richard.
