Yes, thank you. I would be Daniels nephew had he lived. He was my fathers brother. I heard about him frequently. I knew his name but didn't ever update his listing.

double distant cousins
Hi Jane,

I replied to you from work and emailed it to myself to email you from my home. I totally spaced it off. I'm sorry it's been so long.

It looks like Larry and I are "double distant cousins". How cool!! My paternal grandmother was a Munson and Lucinda Langley is my direct on my grandfathers side. Lucinda was my gr gr grandmother.

I'm familiar with Robert Webb's work. He's my hero and has been a big help to me and my genealogy. What a service driven man. It sounds like you and your hubby are the same way. You're helping those of us who are so far away. When you look at my dads five generation sheet including his mother and father's sides, each person has ties to Hancock County. I've been researching since he passed in 2004. I love the area and the people.

Thanks so much for the transfers. I really appreciate it. I want to add to them and will do that soon. Let me know if I can ever help you out.

I probably have quite a bit of research done on members of Larry's family, as well. I have a tree on ancestry and I'd love to compare notes there. In other words, WHAT ELSE DO YOU HAVE and DO YOU HAVE ANY PICTURES??? lol I would appreciate more help on the families. I study my directs and many collaterals, as well.

Have a great day and thanks again!!

Munsons
Larry & Jane,
Wow! You guys have done some amazing work and I appreciate it so much. You've managed to post info on quite a few of my relatives.

All my life my father proudly told me of his Munson relatives. He was raised in Carthage, Illinois and was so proud of his Munson heritage. I'll have to admit it bored me when I was a kid. I wish he was around to ask questions now.

Anyway, I've been looking at the Munsons right now and I see you are maintaining a whole lot of our relatives. I don't know your relation to them but I'd like to ask if you would be able to transfer the following direct relatives of mine: Marion A Munson, Lucinda Langley Munson, John E Munson and Abigail Whittaker Munson. I'd like to add info as I can on these people. (I'd take all of them but that's not findagrave polite lol)

If you are directly related to them.....lets share info cousin!!

Thanks again for all you've done. One other thing, I owe you so much, if I can help you please let me know. I live pretty close to the SLC FHL.

Hancock County Illinois
Hi Larry and Jane,

I am requesting to copy photos you have taken on findagrave. I must tell you how happy and thankful I am to you guys. This is great for me.

I haven't made it to Hancock County yet, but if you look at my dads four generation tree you will find pretty much everyone has ties to Hancock County.

I hope you have no problem with me copying them and attaching them to my family tree.

Thank you,

Susie Webber Lewis

Teter family
Christina Isabelle Teter was the wife of Charles Alexander Martin, my great uncle. The Martin family was from both Scotland and Knox Co. Several of the family moved west to Columbia County, WA in 1882.

RE: Boston Cemetery-Thurber Farm
My computer burned with all digital copies. Everything is lost. I'm sorry I can't help you. The only thing left is that little obituary notice posted on Mrs. Thurber's memorial. My only guess is that for the early settlers that aren't buried at the church might be buried at Boston. It is also possible that the Boston cemetery burials were reinterned elsewhere? I just don't know.

RE: William Hickman Boston Sr.
My ancestor's grave Elizabeth Johnson Thurber is missing too. It was on the James Thurber Farm that the early settlers, mostly surnamed Boston were buried. I don't find any records that they were exhumed and moved to the church cemetery once it was established. Unless you have heard differently. I don't even know who owns this property now or if there are still any remains of an old cemetery on it. The newspaper clipping that is posted on Elizabeth's memorial is the only tangible clue I have. A search of local old newspaper obituaries might be helpful.
