|Alberta Charney||Thanks for James W Ford Headstone photo|
Thank you so much. This headstone says Elsie/Alsey died in 1918 but we still have the odd reference in in her mother's obituary that implies Elsie was still alive in early 1919.
Lovely photograph, by the way.

This is a very large cemetery with all flat markers. If you could call the office and find the location of this burial we would be glad to look for it. We can only ask for three locations without being charged. 740-452-2236

|Alberta Charney||RE: Martha Underwood Powell|
Thank you again Rennie.
Your photo of Martha Underwood Powell's headstone is so clear that I noticed another headstone behind and to the right of it. Martha Underwood and Henry Thomas Powell were my great grandparents. The headstone in the background is that of my grandparents, Susan F. Powell and Isaiah Thomas Hill. I already have their headstone posted, a picture that you probably submitted!

Thank you for the lovely picture of Martha Underwood Powell's headstone!
Since it says "POWELL" at the bottom, is that headstone for both Martha and Henry Thomas Powell? If not, I'll have to submit another request for Henry, I'm embarrassed to admit.
It always amazes me that volunteers like you are willing to spend your spare time seeking out the gravestones of other peoples' ancestors.
Thank you again for all you do.

|Alberta Charney||Henry Thomas Powell memorial|
Why didn't this memorial appear when I searched the WV Find-a-Grave index? His wife's (Martha Underwood Powell) memorial came up in the search, but not his. I found his through a Google search.

Thank you for this memorial. I learned more from your memorial than all the WV birth/death/marriage indices combined! And you've given me more avenues for research.
He was my great grandfather and I am frustrated finding records, particularly documentation of his mother, Susan Lawson.

Rennie, I updated and put your note on her memorial. Someone may be able to help us with it.

Thanks for the correction information. I have made the changes on the Elias Dotson memorial. If you are kin to him, I will gladly transfer.

Thank you, Thank you! I don't like to leave anything unfinished. That first photo was nasty, I should not have posted it at all.

|Gina||RE: Henry Cemetery - Lewis County, WV|
I have no idea where Henry Cemetery is in Lewis County, WV. I tried a genealogy site GENEALOGY TRAILS, but it didn't list cemeteries in West Virginia. I don't know of no other site at this time to locate it- if you live in WV maybe go to library or court house for a county map.
I do not live in WV.

Thanks for your kind comments on my website. I also have a listing on RootsWeb for the Descendants of Tobias Haught, who settled in Tyler County in the 1830's. Maybe you can find a link in our families there. Here is the link to the site:

|KJS||Saunders - Prairie Home|
I photographed the Saunders at Prairie Home today. I saw on their memorial that you were seeking information on them in 2008. If you're still lacking info, let me know and I'll see if I can find obituaries for them.

Good day to you. I was reviewing your photo request. This cemetery is large, with over 7000 burials. An exact location is necessary and the office does not give out locations to photographers (for privacy reasons). Please contact the office at 419-536-8321 to get the location and I can get your photo. Thanks, Pamela

Made the corrections ad updated the information I had on there thanks for helping. Sometimes our research has little errors in them although we try hard not to make them once in a while just a little type err and others just goof ups.
