Austin family research
Hi. I saw you maintain several Austin family memorials and was wondering if you had done any research that may have found a link to the Austin's in Davidson, Tn. Im trying to trace a Baker line from there that moved to Mclean county with the railroad about 1860s.(married into Bartley family) The Bakers in davidson, tn also married into the Austin family and there is another Baker line (which i suspect is related) from there abouts that married into the Austin family which you seem to have been documenting. I have all the connections that I can prove so far online if youd like to take a look at it, id be happy to provide a link. thanks. I have a suspicion that both baker and both austin lines may be relatives.

Austin Family
No, sorry I haven't come across a Francis Austin. I only have a few Austins in my family and one came from England and the other is a female named Sidney Austin born in Portsmouth or Norfolk Virginia that married Nathan Forbes that I can't seem to find. If I do find something out I will let you know.

RE: Wildcats
Hey thanks for the invite. You did a great job! I really enjoyed seeing all of the former Wildcats. It was crazy to see how many fought over seas by the way. Thanks again and I hope you have a Merry Christmas!

Janice Arnold
Austin Transfer
Done, I think I got them all. Do you live in the McLean County area? I am an Arnold and I have been down to the Cemetery. I live in Southern Indiana. Some of my Arnold's married Austin's. We may be related. If I have learned one thing about McLean County back in the days................everyone seem to be related one way or the other. It was one of my Arnold's that owned the property were the cemetery sits. I had full intentions of listing everyone in the cemetery..............but you know what they say about good intentions LOL. Merry Christmas
Wishing you and yours a safe and very Merry Christmas. May your home be filled with the magic and warmeth of this joyous holiday season.

And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men. And it came to pass, as the angels were gone away from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another, Let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing which is come to pass, which the Lord hath made known unto us. And they came with haste, and found Mary, and Joseph, and the babe lying in a manger. Luke 2:10-16

Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus. He exists as certainly as love and generosity and devotion exist, and you know that they abound and give to your life its highest beauty and joy. Alas! how dreary would be the world if there were no Santa Claus!

Hi, Armand,
Thank you so much for your lovely message. While I do not feel like an angel on earth, it saddens me to see that there are so many people whose memorials are not even sponsored, people who have only a few flowers left, whereas everybody deserves so many more. Those angels I have sponsored so far all mean a lot, their lives matter, they matter. Take good care of yourself, Armand (I love that name, by the way, my first love, a French boy, is called Armand, too), hope to read from you again, xxx Edda
