Barbara Barton
The changes to Barbara's memorial, including links, have been made (again). Yes, I do know how to use the new edit feature, but I prefer to use the other method so I can insert they hyperlinks that redirect interested viewers to the member page of someone who has contributed information. I also know how to read the FAQs and comply with Find A Grave's policies.

I may have told you about this before, if so, please forgive. I met Vicky Baker at the convenience store in Volga. She said Ruby is still at her house! They ashes have not been interned at the cemetery in Monona. She gave me her email address if you are interested.

RE: Ellen Trogden
Found 1 genealogy that says Howell Lincoln died 6-18-1909 but doesn't say where. Also found this website:

Copy and paste it if you haven't seen it before.

Ellen Trogden
Ellen is buried with the Thompson's. No marker for her. Also listed there is Howell Trogdon and Charles Trogdon interred in 1923. No markers for them either. I thought Howell was buried in California? Who is Charles? Bill Schultz

Thank you Jane, you were a big help. I will call the library on Monday. I live in North Carolina and you can go into any courthouse and get copies of birth & death certificates (non-certified). Years ago you could call courthouses in many states and someone would be glad to look at a death certificate and tell you where someone was buried even though they had to look through books. Now the information is on a computer at their fingertips and they will not give you any information. My uncle Lewis corresponded with my mother and he lived in Whittier, CA at the time. Hopefully I will find him soon. Every generation has that elusive relative.

Thank you, Jane. His name is:

Lewis Henry Paul
born: 2/1/1920 Rock Hill, York, SC
died: 9/23/1980 Brea, Orange, CA

If you can't find an obit I will try the website you sent. I just want to know where he is buried. He is the only one of my grandparents six children not linked to them.

Jane, I found Anna Pauls death certificate (died in Charlotte, NC) and it states she is buried in Mt. Verner cemetery in Pasadena. I thought it may be Mt. Vernon, but can't find either. I want to find out where my Mother's brother is buried also. I went online and a death certificate is $40+. His name is Lewis Henry Paul, born 2/1/1920 in York Co, SC and died 9/23/1980 in Brea, Orange, CA. Any ideas how to find him? Thank you for your help. This is great work. If you need help back here in North Carolina, let me know.

Jane
I have two Elisabeth Hochsteins in St. Peter and Paul. On reads wife of Anton died 7-30-1899, age 22y 6m 2d
The other has dates of 6-15-1840 to 9-5-1904 so neither DOD matches the memorial.
Is one of these the one you need?
