I got it, must have been slow coming in. Karen, you need to send a copy of this message to Jim Tipton, adding a brief note explaining what she did to you; he might just remove her from it completely, and return it back to you, which is what should be done. it should be returned to you and you alone. if you will do that, I won't ask for a transfer to me. YOU deserve to have it, and JIM needs to know what is going on. PLEASE contact him? June I am on your side.

I did, but nothing from you. Do you suppose she deleted it so no one else could read it?

She got a license in Marion Feb 14 1981 to marry Thomas, but no record of actually getting married there. I went to people search, using Marion, In as her address, but found nothing. Have no clue as to where she lives. By her photo, she looks like she might be in her 50's or 60's. Sort of matronly. I really would like to see what you wrote to her, but don't know how to get to it.

RE: Ruith Wick
how would I be able to see it; I did find a marriage record where she married a Thomas Wicks. Marion, In. I have a feeling, she is not related as much as we are. I want to help you bring her down a notch or two, so bad. Any ideas? I would very much like to see you get control of William. I wonder if you could e mail Jim, explain what is going on with her, and ask him to check into it to see where she fits in with William. It's worth a try. My daughter tried so hard to get management of her dad's Find A Grave when he ddied; the lady who had already dreated his page was NO relation, but she kept ignoring my daughter;s request, my daughter contacted Jim, aand it was done.

Karen, wondering where in line are you to William; and what connection Ruth has to him. If you are more closely related than Ruth, I would e mail Jim Tipton, manager of findagrave, and ask him if he could transfer William and Elizabeth to you himself. Here is where I fit in; Charley Hiatt, my mom's father; Levi, Jr, Mom's grandfather. Levi, Sr was Mom
s gr grandfather, with William being Mom's gr gr grandfather. It's worth a try. I have his e mail address, will send it to you.

Did you delete your memorials for William & Elizabeth? If so, I am so sorry. That means she won again. I think, had I been you, I would have contacted Jim Tipton, I have had to do that before myself. So now, does Ruth have control of them? I so, no one will be able to obtain them now, if nothing else, she will keep them for spite. I wouldn't change anything on your tree site. How do I find your site? Mine is JMcWhirt/Davis. Charley Hiatt was my Grandpa.

I thank you so much for replying. I am going through a bad time right now, and have to have a biopsy tomorrow, as I have a lump pr mass ? in my neck on the left side under my jaw. I have been sick for about three wekks now, so she picked a bad time. I had trouble with her several months ago about misplacing an ancestor in the wrong county, triedexplaining to her, but she refused to listen. I did find a record for William Hiatt buridc (it was findagrave created by this Ruth), she had him in Hendricks Co., In. When I opened it, evidently, she had changed it. But still. that record did list Hendricks Co. Hold your ground; don't let her browbeat you. You have the proof you need. She may try to go over your head, by going to Jim Tipton. Reckon you will have to give Jim a heads up? He has an e mail. June

You transferred these 2 to me sometime ago. A ruth wickman hicks is telling me to delete them, saying they are duplicates. I have never met this woman, but I am tired of her know it all attitude. I have a feeling, she doesn't like me much either. I don't want anything more to do with her, so I am transferring back to you. I have never met you, but I like you; you have always been courteous. Leander Huffman #85065041
Hi Karen!

I really need your help on this one, can you or someone possibly go out and look at this Headstone, BUT only when you get the chance.

Need to find out what the year Leander Huffman died. From the looks of the photo, and I know the headstone itself is pretty weather beaten, and over 140 years But, in your photo, it looks like the year says 1870 or 1879, but can't make it out 9 or 0? I want to say "0". This is my G-Grandmother Lorretta HUFFMAN-Kilgore's youngest brother.

Thank You, and GOD Bless!

RE: Rosille C Ball / Hall
I have found many mistakes in the library data base. One that is more common than you may think is the misreading of very large stones at the cemetery or some very large obvious ones that have never been read in the past 60 years. Another one is when the obit says buried at Matthews they place them at the IOOF and they were buried at Harmony or Olive Branch. This is true of some burials as late as the 1960's. Thanks for your kind attention to fix this. Have a great day!

Rosille C Ball / Hall
As I was adding pictures to Matthews IOOF cemetery, I noticed that the picture I had for Rosille C Ball really had the name Hall on it. I then looked up that name on Find A Grave and found it was already posted with a picture under Hall. memorial # 114929495. There are no Balls at Matthews IOOF.

Shadrach John Nelson
In going back over my stuff I found I created duplicates of your memorials of the Nelson family. Before I deleted mine, as yours were created long before, I thought we could update with family connections etc. But I am not sure how to go about this. I can make edit notes for your memorials but I thought you might know how we merge. I don't mine doing the edit just let me know how as you created them first. Sorry and let me know.

I am checking to see if others.

Just to let you know....his name is 'OTTO'. It is carved on the top of the headstone. Noticed this while researching McCoys in my family.

Solomon Harter Search - Thanks
Thanks for looking for Solomon Harter (b.1799,d.1868). As a result of your input I have made updates in my records and his Find A Grave memorial to reflect the search and my conclusion that he is most likely resting near his wife in an unmarked gravesite.

I don.t blame you there. In fact, because of that, I don't feel right asking you to transfer anything else to me. We are both related to the Hiatts, so if we could work together to link our ancestors together, let's do it. It would make me feel good about it. It seems to me a long time ago, I ran into a snag with Ruth concerning a situation of placing someone else in a different cemetery, and I tried to explain to her it was not correct, and even asked her to transfer the person to me, but she wouldn't do it. Now, I can't remember at all who it was. I don't think she was too happy to transfer William to me. When she did, I corrected the error. Take care, June

I hope you don't delete him, at least, anyway, until I get his children's info transferred. June
