Hi Ruth,
I am so glad that you messaged me... I informed the creator of their memroials, D.C., that they were in the incorrected indicated Cemetery on their Memorials and did inform him of the correct Cemetery

Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church Cemetery (New)
Also known as: New Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church Cemetery

Highway 35
Church Point
Acadia Parish
Louisiana USA
Postal Code: 70525

I keep checking to make certain that it is corrected.
Sincere thanks

Albert Howard

I have been to Mt. Olivet twice to search the T Section for Albert's headstone. Unfortunately, I have not been able to discover a stone for him. In the 203 Plot he should be the second to the last upright stone. There was no stone located in the space where he should be found . . . in fact, there was 3 empty spaces in the plot. If you would like to verify with the cemetery office, they will release the information to family members only. The office is open Monday thru Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 12:00. You need the full name, death date and the location for them to look up if there was a headstone placed on the grave.

Mount Olivet Cemetery
1342 East 5th South
Salt Lake City, Utah 84102-3225

I wish I could have been of more assistance.

Minerva Moore
Hello & Happy Mother's Day Miss Ruth,
Don't know if you use the "Edit" tab on your profile page, but if you can link Minerva Johnston Moore to her husband by copy/pasting his entry # 90061816 into her spouse family link, it would be appreciative. Also on the note on her entry, Minerva married Alexander in 1870, not '75, for there is an 1870 Federal Census with the two living together under surname Moore plus there first born, Robert E. Lee Moore, was born December of 1870.
Thanks for your time. -Marc G.

Hi Ruth,

I didn't see a stone for Lucy; I walked around the entire cemetery. There were a few stones that were in bad shape (unreadable).

Oh, great, then I'll keep Emma attached to Ebenezer's memorial. I see she died at only 22.

Hi Ruth. It's my pleasure. I didn't see a stone for Lucy, however, you may notice that I linked another woman's stone *Emma J. Pettenger (1845 - 1868)* with Ebenezer because her stone actually says she was his wife. Whether she was his first wife is something I am not sure about. You may know more than me. Perhaps she was his only wife and Lucy is incorrect. Hope this helps.

RE: Alexander Moore
Thank you for including my bio updates on distant cousin Alexander Moore's entry. On your profile page/ "Edit" tab, you should have some pending update requests from me for some family entry connections. If you can Approve them it would be appreciative. (Can't recall how many I sent your way but at least the links for Alexander to his wife's entry is in there which will happen automatically once you hit approve.) I'm hoping someday I'll find his parents grave spots somewhere around Lesterville and then we'll link Alexander to his parents' entries.
Thank you for your commitment and time towards Find-a-Grave.

Alexander Moore of 1836-1907
I just left you some edit requests for your entry of Alexander Moore of 1836-1907, born in Stokes County, NC, including Bio update please (Copy/Paste if you wish): "Alexander was the son of Creed Taylor Moore and Nancy (nee Kizer/Kiser/Kaiser) Moore. After the Civil War his parents moved to Lesterville in Reynolds County, Missouri. Alexander had an older sister Louisa and a younger sister Jane. With his marriage to Nancy Minerva Johnston in 1870, they had 9 children: Robert, Ida, Ada, Eda, Ammie, Daisy, Monroe, Nancy, and Ethel."
-Thank you for considering this request.
P.S. His uncle's entry {William Moore of 1812-1903) is listed on F-A-G for Reynolds County, MO with a mention of Creed Taylor Moore. It has links to the rest of this Alexander's family.

I don't know what the problem might be except for spam blocking on your account. Martha will not respond to messages that block her, when she tries to respond. I have sent two messages in the past 2 days to her using that email, and they've gone through just fine.

I'll send an email and see if it comes back to me. If it does, I will call to find out what is going on. After your note came another, who seemed not to have a problem; but we'll see.

Best Wishes.

I am a volunteer like you. The owner of this cemetery promises to call the police on any Find A Grave volunteer.
You can always request again, but I promise you that the photo(s) you seek can be easily and quickly and reliably procured another way.
There has been great success with the San Luis Obispo County Genealogical Society. They completed exhaustive photographing of headstones at San Luis Cemetery in the past 5 years, and they will share them with you.
You can email a request for a photo of the headstone(s) you are looking for, by doing the following, and they will respond promptly:
Address your email to
Put in the subject line
San Luis Cemetery Headstone photo

Give them the name and birth and death dates, or as much as you know.
Ask them to send a picture of the headstone, and tell them how you are related or what your interest is in this person.
They will appreciate that. This information may only be used in genealogical research.
They will email you within a day or two with an attached photo(s), if it exists.
I will ask that your request be removed (so others arenít discouraged), now that you have a very reliable and quick way to achieve your goal. If there is any problem, please let me know.
As a reference here is the website for the index for all the burials and headstones at San Luis Cemetery through 2010.
Best wishes.
