You have a photo of a man and woman posted on this grave. I assume the woman is Sylvia, do you know who the man is pictured with her?

About the only thing I can suggest is when researching, it is a better idea to look at documents instead of trees. After you said that I went and looked and yes there is a whole lot that saved the death certificate for him to the trees as a Female. Just people not actually reading the DC. Or paying attention to whether documents say male and/or female

I have no idea what you are referring to. As Memorial# 129580558 for Francis Max is a "MALE" not a female. And he never married anyone

I searched Ancestry & Virginia Records, could not find the death date, just going by 1964 on marker. As you can tell, it has took some wear. When those markers sits under trees, it takes its tolls on all the tree droppings. Thanks for adding him to the cemetery, I have a few more to add to it, Larry

I'm always so glad to hear one of my pictures has helped out!

I searched back and found the correct picture for the Walter Nachtigall memorial. So sorry about that! Makes me wonder how many others I accidentally messed up!

I'm working on that cemetery some more so I might try to see if I can get better pictures of the Anderson and Nachtigall memorials. Those were taken in November when I was trying to stock up before the snow!

Anna Newton - Sarah Richardson
Bette, I have questions about Anna Newton #90505613, and her daughter, Sarah Marie Newton Richardson #150702901 - which is a page you manage.

Anna is buried in Beverly Cemetery, Beverly OH. Her grave indicates she is the wife of Nathaniel.

On Sarah's page, her parents are listed as Nathanial and Anna (Batterson) Slaterly, and is linked to Anna Newton. I am confused as to the Slaterly name, and I am hoping you can help me with this.

I would like to know the source of this information, and I would also like the history of the wonderful photo of Sarah.

My direct line ancestor is Sarah's brother, Mark Anthony Newton.

I visited Anna's grave in OH, but I did not find Nathaniel's grave. Any information on this would also be appreciated.

Thank you, Joyce

Find A Grave Memorial# 138291501
Hi Bette,

I'm interested in Ernest Cortland Sperry and his wives. On his Find A Grave memorial, you mention a marriage certificate for him and Cora Bell Campbell. May I ask where you located that? The only thing I can find linking him to Cora is a City Directory entry in 1929 in Clarksburg, WV.
Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Hello Bette,

I just sent you an email about your father Eldon Grimm. I believe that he may have served with my great uncle Robert Lyle Greer and his friend Harry R Grove during WWII.

I hope to hear from you soon

Bushrod Washington Lawson
Hi Bette,
I am related to the Lawson family and I am entering our family history on familyseach.org. May I please copy the Death Certificate of Modacai Cloud Lawson to put on Family Search? I also use ancestry.com at times, but family search now allows you to build a family tree and attach photos and documents for free. Thanks, Karen

Mo Crawfish
Mahala Boone Prunty
I know that Dr. R.C. Prunty married several times after Mahala's death. They had a daughter, Belle who is enumerated with him in the 1850 federal census. Interestingly, her name is listed as Belle Boone, not as Belle Prunty, which has furthered my speculation that perhaps he and Mahala didn't marry. His daughter Amanda was Mary Frances Hosman Prunty, and this is her memorial: http://findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=155547316

Mo Crawfish
Mahala Boone Prunty
Hello,
Thank you for suggesting an edit to the above referenced memorial. Please provide the source for your information. The date of birth seems about right, but I think her birthplace was much more likely to be Greene County, Missouri, since her father, Nathan Boone relocated to what is now Missouri in 1796.

Patricia Ann Wiblin Greene
Thank you for the edits for Patricia. I appreciate your help.

Would you mind removing the marriage cert from her memorial though?
Since it is readily found online, I do not feel they need to be added to the memorials, saving that space for personal photos.

thanks!
Anna
