You are very welcome, Judy. It was an interesting story and since I had the time, I wanted to delve into it a little more. Sorry their lives didn't end so well. Regarding your "uncle" William, I would suggest checking sources through Wyoming since one of the articles I read said hew had lived there. If he had hurt himself in a mining accident he must have lived with relatives. What do you think? Then there is always the misspelling of names on the Federal census! Please feel free to contact me if you think there is something else I can check on for you here in the Black Hills.
There are so many more cemeteries and not all graves have been added to Find A Grave. To fill in some of my time last night in Deadwood (my hubby was working) I walked around Mt. Moriah cemetery and must have found a dozen grave sites that didn't have a photo on Find A Grave and a few that weren't even listed. There are hundreds buried in the Potters Field sections so he could still be there. I looked at one list on the South Dakota site, and I also looked at the City of Deadwood's Mt. Moriah list an he is not there either. Keep me posted. I hope you are enjoying vaction!

Thank you for contacting me. Hulda Ostlund was my Grandmother. But before I give out my aunt's contact information, is it possible to get the name of the person who is interested about Hulda. I do remember her taking a trip to Washington, but can not remember if it was a relative or a friend.

Don't know if they are the same. My source info could have been wrong. Don't have the record now to verify.

You can view the plot and location on the Deadwood City web site.
Just Google "Mount Moriah Deadwood SD" and pick the Mount Moriah site. Once you are on the site, there is an interactive map you can click on the right side of the web picture. It takes a little time to load, be patient, and it allows you to do a search of a name, and then gives you the plot number and shows the location on the map ariel view. Send an email if any problems.

There are not words to thank you enough for this picture. It is all I have of my Mother. I have been searching for years and finally got this information from her death certificate. I only wish now I could contact this Poletti family to see if I could have a picture to leave my family. Thank you, Barbara Hazen Byrd

Has been transferred. No, I didn't know his family is buried there, so I did not create the memorials. Beth

Sorry, no, not that I know of. It helps to have more info, but I found who you were talking abt. I flowered abt a year ago. It could have been from one of the many flowering projects at findagrave. We flower occasionally those who don't have any. Take care.

Thanks Judy for taking the time to get this headstone photo for me and thanks for the writing the inscription down so it could be read. Your efforts are appreciated.

I have tranny ed the family to you. The content on the pages can now be changed deleted or manipulated by only yourself. It is nice to give those I have found and put on line to family.
I made some changes per your info and the office records, but have left it for you, as with knowledge you would want to make a bio for the group.
