Re: Alexander Barber (1881-1955)
Find A Grave Memorial # 22124372

FYI - Alexander had two wives - Ellena Stockwell (1881-1973), who he divorced, and Nellie J Angus (1902-Unknown). Nellie married Alexander in 1925. She had previously been married to Sidney Streeter and had two daughters with him (Carol and Devona mentioned in the obituary). Nellie had no children with Alexander. If possible, could you please correct the entry for Nellie J Angus. Thanks so much for all you do for Find A Grave! If you have any questions, you can email me at

Sylvester Fredenburg
Hi Connie, Thanks for posting the information about the Fredenburgs. My grandmother, Mae Fredenburg Littlefield was Sylvester's niece (her father was Alonzo).

Do you know where Mike Serpa found the photo of Sylvester that is posted with his information at Memorial # 28381592 and where it came from and how it is known that that is actually a picture of Sylvester? I would love to find other Fredenburg photos!

Thanks so much for your good work,

Vicki Mae Littlefield

George Fredenburg
Hicks Cemetery in Battle Creek, MI has a S Franklin Fredenburg who was buried in Sept of 1965 but they do not have a George. The dates for S. Franklin Fredenburg is 1871-1965. Let me know if this is the one that you are looking for and I will post it for you.

Fredenburg request
Hi Connie,

The Powell Cemetery is rural and small. I walked it yesterday afternoon and didn't see a single Fredenburg marker -- wish I had better news for you.

RE: Robert Barber
No. I think someone named Claire took the picture. It was a general cemetery picture.

RE: Robert Barber
Connie, the picture was of the cemetery, but I am unable to delete it. I've tried everything method I can think of and can't seem to remove it. It is not a personal picture, but one of the cemetery.

Wow, I can't thank you enough. We have been searching several years for GG Uncle Frank. He had a good life but in the end he threw himself in front of a train in Ft. Scott. We were able to get his obiturary.

I am finally writing my family history book after years of research and wanted so much to include him.

I also have done picture requests for find a grave although I am not a registered volunteer. I just check before I visit any cemetery in any state and then try to do it.

So, once again. I believe what goes round, come round and you proved it! Susan White Greenberg

RE: Hendershott
Thanks Connie for the reply anyway. I have found an old obit that says that he was a resident of Groveland but not the name of a cemetery. I am in OK.

Thank You
Connie - thank you so, so much for all the leg work you did for the pictures and information on my husband's family. I could never have done any of it without you.

Take care and keep in touch -- Teresa

Thanks a million, Connie!!
You solved a mystery for me! The office gave me the location but never told me that there weren't any markers. Other cemeteries have given me this info. Maybe Riverside records don't contain this info.

Anyway, I really appreciate your efforts!!

Cains & Hannas
Connie - thank you so much for taking the photos of the Cains and Hannas in Riverdale Cemetery. I appreciate it so much.

I just don't know why Clarissa DeCew is not there unless she didn't have a stone or something. Her obit said she was buried there.

I also added Sarah Dixon Cain since I now know for sure she was buried there, or at least her name is on the headstone with her husband, John. You will be able to fill that request pretty easily.

Would it be possible to email me the original pictures that you took for these gravesites. I know my husband will be thrilled to have them.

Thanks again, I really appreciate the pictures.
