RE: The obit for Olan I. Leazer
Hi Christine,
The obit for Olan Leazer was given to me by my sister-in-law. My guess is it was in the Ottumwa Courier or the Fairfield Ledger as she takes both papers. Olan is my husband's cousin so I know the info is correct.

Carey & Clement Logsdon
DKF left you a message and I sent you an edit request concerning correcting the cemetery location of Carey & Clement Logsdon. They both are interred at Union Cemetery in Columbus Ohio not Union Grove Cemetery.
I have grave photos ready to post. I do not want to post them until the corrections are completed.
Please make the correction.

Cary L. & Clement J. Logsdon
Hi Christine,

I believe Carey L. & Clement J. Logsdon whom you have placed in Union Grove Cemetery, Knox County are actually buried in Union Cemetery in Columbus.
Check out the memorial for Carey's wife Bertha
# 160032003 and zoom in on the second photo (which was taken today!) and you can clearly see Carey on the right and Clement on the left. If you agree, it would be great if you could move your memorials there.

Thanks & Best Regards,

I am sending this for your consideration since you have both Jacob & Laura. I have been doing research for a cousin and family trees have a daughter Loraine Woellhof
who was born Nov 28, 1922. While looking through the Greenwood Cemetery records I found Larauie Woellhof with the same dates. I thought you might like to add and link her with the rest of the family. A. Boyd

Elmo Biggs Carson (Mount Lindo Cemetery)
Hello Christine,

Sorry for the very late reply on your requests. Due to lack of time and so many requests it is hard to complete them all in a timely basis. Also I have been off line for a very, very long time.

You were asking for the grave marker photo for Elmo Carson. I have added it to his memorial. He is laid to rest with Muriel Carson.

You were also asking if Elmo’s wife, Eva Fern (Rutledge) Carson, was there. I didn’t see a grave site for her.

Hulda Biggs #54598761
Hi Christine,

I would like to offer my heartfelt thanks for your diligence in taking care of our relatives memorials.
I have been busy trying to link everyone together, yes all 13 children to Grandma & Grandpa.
Since there is no marker on the graves, perhaps you could tell me how I would go about securing a map of the cemetery to help locate them.
Would you please transfer the memorial for Hulda Biggs and her husband Lewis Biggs #54598776 to me.
If I can ever be of assistance to you please don't hesitate to ask. Thanks again....Charlotte

Amos Biggs in Biggs Cemetery, Ohio

I believe that this mystery has been cleared up.

Here is the memorial for the child in question (Odie May): 141136705

It took a lot of research, but we can finally lay poor Amos to a peaceful rest (smile).

Hope this helps,

Knapp Family
I noticed your kinship to the Knapp family of Danbury, CT , which is how I found you.
I am searching for Ami Knapp, born in Danbury, CT in 1789; parents unknown at this time. However, he married Polly Hull and had children - Henry Jackson, John Hull, Sarah Eliza, Evaline A. and Andrew B. Henry and John were born in Danbury and then the family moved to Sherburne, NY and most all are buried in Sherburne Quarter Cemetary. (My Hull family were from that area, including Polly's brother)
The dates and names are so similar on the Knapp side I can't help but wonder if we are connected.
Please reply one way or the other. Thank you !

Chester and Nancy Pratt
I thought I had found your Chester Pratt, come to find out I found Chester Pratt Jr. not Sr. like you requested. I had contacted the library in Fennimore where there is a book that lists all people buried in Prairie Cemetery. There is only one Chester Pratt listed in the book and that is Chester Jr. Sorry for the confusion.
