Wendall Stroout
Wendall is buried in Valley cem. His stone is picture there. I know his daughter. His wife and grandson are in the same lot.

Wendall A Strout
His obituary states he was buried at Valley Cemetery in Greene, Androscoggin, Maine.
If you can delete his name from the casco cemetery and then contact FINDAGRAVE to ask them to remove the cemetery that would be greatly appreciated. We all make mistakes. I have sure made mine.

I agree with Peter. The purpose of the photo request feature is not to just randomly make up a name of a cemetery (without even capitalizing it) in the hope of someone guessing where the burial is. Now you're created a non-existent cemetery which, even after you delete the memorial, the admins of FindAGrave will have to remove. Please do the research needed to place this memorial in a real cemetery, with location and all other standard information.
Thank you.

There is no such cemetery called Casco in Casco, Maine. Please check if your Strout is in another cemetery and delete Casco as a cemetery. Thank you so much.

re: Driskos in GG Cem
There are only 3 in GG Cem. Hazel, Robert & Thomas. Find A Grave is not the best place to check for burials in a National Cem. Find A Grave only has memorials that people create. The last word in burials is

Thomas E Drisko
Hi- I claimed your photo request for T. E. Drisko born 1919 in Golden Gate Cem. According to the VA records-there is no such person there. I will go there next week but do not expect any different opinion.

Hi Mary,
I would be more than happy to add the links that you requested, however when you mention "this" I have no idea who are referring to. Please give me more info. Thanks Marshall

I found lot 539. Three of the six spaces in the lot had headstones. I placed the flowers in the middle of the area of the three unmarked spaces. If I got it wrong or there should be a headstone, let me know.

Jack Edward Klum
Hi Mary,
I sent a message to the ones who created the memorial for Jack Klum, Memorial# 3905670, asking them to change the grave location to "X" instead of "K" and asked if they couldn't to please transfer the memorial to me and I would make the correction. They transfered the memorial to me, and the location has been corrected.

Since Jack isn't in my family, if you would like me to transfer his memorial to you, please let me know.

Gravemarker photo for Jack E Klum
Hello Mary,
As of today, Find A Grave still has Jack's grave location, at Willamette National Cemetery, listed as K, 2267. The correct location is X, 2267, as shown on the marker in the upper right corner of the marker. The correction was made on the US Veteran's Affairs Locator website, and in Willamette National Cemetery's database, but not in Find A Grave. I found the gravemarker in X and have uploaded the photo. Please make the correction in your records.

Henry Thomas Memorial (64354065)
Hi Mary,

It appears that after I transferred the Henry Thomas Memorial (64354065) from Grandview Cemetery in Johnstown according to you request on 29 September 2011, that you deleted it, and created a new Henry Thomas memorial (77421839) for him on October 1, 2011. Please read the following from the Findagrave FAQ:

"Please note that it is not appropriate to request a transfer and then, after receiving the transfer, delete that page and substitute it with a new memorial that you have created. This practice denies credit to the original contributor. Please use the original memorial page to make updates and add information."

RE: Pebley stones
There were two stones- one on the same plot (Albert & Amanda), and one stone two plots over (Earl & Dorothy). I created memorials for both, added whan I know and attached photos. There is a plot between Albert & Earl's that has no headstones so I'm not sure off-hand who is there.

RE: Headstone for Margaret Thomas

I'll be glad to remove the wrong picture, but I have no way to pull up his memorial page. Let me know what to do.

RE: Headstone for Margaret Thomas

I'm not sure what you mean that the dates don't match. Do you mean Henry or Margaret's dates? Henry and Margaret are buried in the same plot at Grandview cemetery. The plot is Central 2 plot 377. Good luck with this mystery. Maybe she is a 2nd wife.

I have a picture of Margaret Thomas. Her stone is the same type as Henry Thomas and right beside his. I believe they were married. If you want the picture create a memorial and send a request for her.

Debbie B
Bernard West photo request
Hi Mary,
I recently received notice of your photo request. Forest Home is an enormous cemetery, and the office
limits the amount of information doled out to one person--they've pretty much let me know I've reached my limit. If you can contact their office for the plot location of the people you're looking for, it will speed along the process of your getting photographs--especially since I seem to be the only one doing the fulfilling at the moment.
Here is the contact info:
Phone: (708) 366-1900; fax: (708) 366-1921
PLEASE ask if there is a headstone.
