Hi Peggy - I wonder if you would put a note on your memorials for the Harrisons, David and Edwin Chandler Harrison that each of them are CENOTAPH memorials.
The baby, David, was buried in Pocatello, but Mrs. Chandler never told me where, before she died - since he was stillborn, it may have even been on their property - but I still do not know where their son, Edwin Chandler Harrison, is - they just asked if they could place that memorial stone - neither son is buried at Willard. Thanks, Shirleen

|Denise Gregory||Thank you!|
Thank you for all you have done and continue to do for our family and friends. You have touched so many people's lives with all of the information and priceless pictures submitted with love and such dedication to preserving their memories. I know this was a project you began several years ago. It has become so much more than a project. Our Perry - Van family has been blessed through your efforts to create such beautiful and informative memorials. I am sure our other family members have found helpful information, too. I hope that you continue to find enjoyment in what you are doing. You are truly appreciated and loved.
Your sister, Denise.

|Amy Randles||Hi Peggy,|
Not sure if you remember me or not. I was Jim's niece, John's step daughter. I hope that you don't mind, I came across your memorial for uncle Jim, so I posted a couple additional photos.

FYI: I added a grave photo to his site 98506994, and you have him listed with the last name of Clark instead of Clarke, and I just didn't want there to be any confusion. Thanks.

|lyman||RE: Margaret Murray Van|
Wanzitz was most likely her indian last name.
Here is another story I have on her that mentions wanzitz. I also found several in the indian rolls of the ute reservation.
As we were growing up, our mother would tell the story of 'Grandmother Rachel' to keep in our history, the truth.
Grandmother Rachel was a young girl (age 9-11) when the Ute indians were moved from around Utah to the reservation in Uintah County. It is told that Rachel was with her Uncle ,Jimmy Wanzits and another man. Either she was a burden to them or they were in need so the men stopped at the farm of Ruben Allred and his family. At that time Rachel was traded for 2 horses. Rachel stayed with the Allred family in what ever capacity she served and the men went on to the reservation. The Allred family raised Rachel and educated her along with their children. I have picked up information during the family research and I believe Rachel was actually Jimmy's daughter. There was no reason for him to have a young niece with him at that time. Jimmy had many, many children and most did not survive to adulthood. Rachel would have been better off with the Allred family than on the reservation with Jimmy and his wife. Rachel was my 'Great, Great Grandmother. None of us will ever lose the fascination of hearing and telling her story.

Peggy - thanks so much for the photos - I have noticed that yours are very nice quality & I appreciate all your help!
History is so important, that it is so great to be as accurate as possible. If I can help you with any pedigree research, let me know (I'm not so good at photos!) ~ Shirleen

|Katherine Doan||RE: Keturah Andrews|
Thank you for adding the headstone photo for Keturah Button Andrews. Another mystery! My dates were taken from "Button Families of America", pg. 84. The Buttons are my husband's maternal grandmother's family. During my research I have found numerous errors in this book, mostly on dates. Grandma (Grace Button Gray) was listed as deceased in April of 1962; in fact she did not pass until August 1979! I'm going on a long shot that the stone is probably right, but I'll dig some more to see what I might find. I'd leave the photo on the page - perhaps another relative will shed some light on this. Again, thank you for doing this. We are located in New York State, so cannot get photos of the "pioneer" relatives.

I did just send you her birth certificate and two marriage index's from Utah States records. They were sent to your personal email listed because scans can not be attached to your public message center. I did send them with word. Let me know if you can open them.

I understand to keep Sarah Jane Sabey Walker's Memorial for your Husband. I'm really fine with that. Can you Line her Parents into that site. They are James Sabey (70657318) buried in Wallsburg Cemetery in Wallsburg, Utah and Jane Bone (70699451) buried in Lehi Cemetery in Lehi, Utah. Thank you!!!

Peggy: Thank you for the heads up on Abigail Abbott - I have removed it. I emailed the grave location to the original, but it has not been added - sometimes the darned "edit" messages, incoming & outgoing, get missed because they appear in exactly the same format - confusing!
thanks again, Shirleen (history4sure)

Hey, was nice to see you on memorial day. I saw you & Deloris in the paper. Nice.
I was in Tridell Cem. the other day and came back to look at my son's GGrandma & gramps grave. I was suprised to see you had found all her brothers and sisters. I only knew of the one brother Ed. Anyway thought you might want to add a list of their children:
My first mother-in-law is Clora Whitehead. Thanks so much. Pam
