A favor please, can you delete the tombstone photo on memorial 35204749 ? The family has purchased a new tombstone and I would like to add a photo of it.

Bob Schamber
Sturdevant Ranch Cemetery
Dear Mr. Rogers,
I was up at the Sturdevant Ranch Cemetery in 2007 and took several photos of the overturned headstones and compiled together a little book. If I send this to you can you forward to the Mariposa County Historical Society. I think it would be good to add another Mariposa County cemetery on Find a grave website and call it the "Sturdevant Ranch Cemetery." There are supposedly about 40 graves in the private cemetery. What is your email address so I can forward you the booklet? My g-g grandfather is buried up there - Ira Rouse (A Civil War Veteran) and there are many other very old graves. Seems like this cemetery should be restored and the headstones should be recovered. The owner of the property is very nice to talk to.

WARD Cemetery
In case you were wondering, the source on those edits I have put in (mainly plot numbers) -- is the book "Our People And Where They Rest: A Visit to 104 Old Cemeteries in Eastern Oklahoma," James W. Tyner, Maxine Tyner and Alice Tyner Timmons, American Indian Institute, University of Oklahoma, Norman, OK. 1970-1985, (Library of Congress No. QE99-C5-T97) There wasn't a place for me to put that in the edit form.
Thanks for all your help! Best wishes.

RE: Your photo request at East Lawn Palms

I see you submitted a photo request.

East Lawn Palms Cemetery will only give out the locations - (Section/Block, Plot) to relatives. And there are over 9000+ graves there. Too many to search without a location.

If you can find out what at least what Section/Block I can take the photo for you.

Thank you William, I'm so thankful for her help and all the work you and her do for Find A Grave.
It's a wonderful site and especially for those
who can't or won't ever get to visit their loved
ones last resting place. Have a pleasant evening.

Calavry Cemetery in Merced
William, would you happen to have a list of the
graves in this cemetery? Also, any other cemeteries in or around Merced? I'm looking for
Mary Jane 'Oneal' Pound. She was born 1902 in
Arkansas and died 19 Bef., 1980 in Merced. Any
help would be appreciated.

My condolences. It is hot here but it seems like you are a degree or two hotter. When will this ever end.

RE: Re: Carl & Blanche Ruddle
You are most welcome. I see you noticed that I also did Blanche Ruddle. They are right next to each other and I noticed before I went that there was no photo for Blanche. I am sorry the photo isn't better but I was there early and to get a better shot there would have been my shadow in the way. I normally go later in the day but with temps of 105 that would have been too hot.
