RE: Townsends
Well thank you again for all of your efforts taking the Townsend photos. My grandmother, Bertie Salley Ford Townsend Cockerham (from Georgetown)had a sister Mary Ford. I believe that she married a Taylor. Maybe we are related after all. I will try to look up who Aunt Mary married.

By the way, I just returned from Louisiana Thursday and did visit the Union, Zions and Georgetown Cemeteries! I have a sister in Alexandria and a brother in Baton Rouge.

Thanks again,
Susan

Thank you for all of the Townsend photos that you have taken for me. Are you related to Townsends? Just curious. That is my maiden name and maybe we are related.

Thomas R. Kinney
That was a good picture of Thomas R. Kinney headstone only one problem though, the lower part of the saying was cut off the bottom of the picture. Do you have any with all the words on the headstone showing? If so can you replace it? Thanks.

Howard and Mackie Wilson
Hi Mr. Bob,
Once again thanks a million for taking photos for me, this time the Wilson's graves. I really appreciate your willingness to do this. Howard was one of the best supervisors (US Forest Service) I ever had during my working career. He was a great guy.
Thank you,

You added the information and picture to a person that is already listed in the Bolton-Teague cemtery. Would you like to add the picture to Angel's entry? Beverly Rakowitz Angela's cousin.

Hi Mr. Bob,
Thanks a million for taking the picture of my grandmother. I very much appreciate your time and effort. I looked for her in the Cypress Creek Cemetery where my grandfather was buried but couldn't find her. When I got back to the computer I found out she was in Bethlehem. If I can ever get a picture for you just let me know.
Thanks again,
backwoodsman

Thanks for the photo on this one too, Bob. The birth month and day are correct on his headstone, but the year is definitely wrong. I added a note of explanation at the bottom of the bio on his memorial.

Bob,

What do you use on the tombstone to bring the inscriptions out? Shaving cream, soap???

I like being able to read them..

Thanks,

May I have permission to use the photo?
Mr. Taylor,

I just noticed that I need permission to use the photo you took. May I use the photo on my ancestry.com tree? I will give you credit. Thank you.

correction
I mistakenly wrote Elijah Ross' wife as Eliza Jane -- that's my maternal ancestor Eli's wife.(kind of easy to mix all the "Eli"s up!) Friend McMahon Ross's death certificate said his mother's maiden name was Bassett.
