Thank you for the info on Faye. I updated her memorial # 82133932. I made her memorial because she was my friend Robert's best friend and I had those photos of her from his album.
I found a very informative obituary on ancestry of Louie Edward Allstot's father. I transcribed it but I don't know how to get it to you.

I would be more than happy to transfer the memorials to you? Just let me know!

Thank you for sharing these photos of her grave with me. She was my great aunt and I haven't been back to Lincoln since 2003. I added a pic of her when she was in her thirties, but she still looked a lot like that when she was in her 90's. I do genealogy and it will be nice to add a pic of her headstone to my work.

Please remember that newspaper article/obituary scans are not allowed as images in the photo section of memorials, as detailed in the FAQ section of the website.
Also not allowed are photos of cemetery section signs. Plot info should only be placed in the plot field.
The photo section should only be used for photos of the person's grave, and a portrait photo of the person being memorialized, as long as you hold the copyright.

The 1930 census shows the family as Sherman, Lola, Clyde, and son Jack H. born about 1910 (daughter-in-law Helen H. born about 1910 and granddaughter Virginia D. born about 1929); and daughters: Lois M. about 1921, Edith about 1822 and Dorothy R. about 1925. All show born in Iowa in the census record.

Thanks. I found him in Washington and linked him to Lola and Clyde.

Thank you so much for adding her memorial and notifying me. I knew who she had married and knew she died young but did not know just where she was buried. We are getting that family linked pretty well.

|Paul Rolfe||Mehitable Poor/Poore|
I have found the name both ways. Daniel (brother of Mehitable) has Poore on his marker. An old family document I have shows Poore; however, it also shows them born in Ringgold County while many claim they were born next door in Taylor County. Also the same document incorrectly shows the Sevrens family in lieu of Severns. I appreciate your input and changed it since the majority of siblings apparently used Poor.

|Marilyn Posthumus Clark||Blanche DeBord Larson question|
Been poking around newspapers.com and see death notice for Blanche's mother, Martha DeBord. Says 2 dtrs surviving (1955). This corroborates obit on Martha's Find A Grave page. I'm taking 1953 off of Blanche's Find A Grave record for now. If you have a better date, send an edit. I'm still researching but 1953 is def. wrong. Thanks.

She was buried at the Saint Michael and All the Angels Episcopal Church in Tuscon. She was one of 3 nursing professors killed at the College of Nursing in a murder-suicide.
