i just posted a message letting you know that you had iris listed in the wrong cemetery. she is buried at old montefiore alongside a David. I found the plot #'s for all those that you put in requests for at new montefiore. i just wanted to let you know that there is also a Daniel buried at new montefiore, i don't know if you put in a request for him or not, i figured you would want a pic of him b/c he is buried next to pauline. i plan on going next week to get the pictures for you at new montefiore.

Jennie & Vandelia did a pretty good on their story considering they had to rely on info. from other family members. With computors, info is much more available today. We used to visit them when I was growing up. Uncle Lije was my favorite of the Sniders that I knew.

No thank you. LOL I have 3 copies. If you look at Vandelia's father's death certificate you will find that she did not know where Jacob was born. In the book you would think she knew every thing. I don't know who Dr. Jacob's sisters were or if they lived to adulthood. I have the family back to the mid 1700's but have been blocked in for now. Maybe I should write an article for the historical society. LOL.

I've never seen anything with the name "Red' Dowdy on it. I've only seen John Dowdy. What do you have that prompts that question.
The only 'Red' Dowdy I know of is Armstead L Dowdy, b 1898 in Mississippi and died 1985 in Montgomery County, MS.
If you have additional information that might give me something to go on, that would help.

Jacob ( Jake ) Snider Is the son Of Willis Snider. Nancy Jane Blake married Samuel Hoffman in early 1880. I don't know if they were divorced or if he died. So, Nancy Jane Hoffman married Jake Snider. Jake & Nancy are my great grandparents. After Jake died Nancy married George ( Charlie ) Miller. They had a daughter, Sarah Gertrude Miller in 1904. She only lived a few days according to my info. My dad said Jake was burried in Vincent cem. and no one knows where Nancy was burried. I believe Jake & Nancy's daughter Missouri is also burried in Vincent cem.I have info back to Jacob Snider b. 1748 & catrina b. about 1752. They had at least 2 children. James Elijah ( Lije ) Snider was a sweetheart, He took Victor Alonzo in when Nancy died. He also took my Uncle Alvin when Delpha Passed away. Kirt & Ethel Adkins took My aunt Lois in after Delpha passed away and My aunt Pansy was married at 15 and took in the 2 youngest boys, but at some point the 2 younger boys were adopted out. I have more info that I have not researched yet and I would like to secure transfers of a few memorials yet before I add too much info.
I can only reach by the public message board or reply to your message. The other links give me an error report. Got to put my pc in the shop for a check-up. Will probably do that monday, so may be without it for a few days.

Surprisingly it was not that hard to find. I usually don't go over to All Souls because most of their lookups are MANUAL using loose- leaf binders and ONE person does it. Now I happened to be going to Forest Lawn LB and said what the heck maybe they have SOME of their data bank on computer. They now have a BIT not much but some and yours happened to be one of them..
I was in the Navy at LBNS on a ship from 1957 thru 1962. Rollicking good times.. I saw many of the top named bands and entertainers when it was CHEEP... (LOL)

This should be William G. Blake #20759819 Born 1895 & son of William F. Blake # 20752833 His wife was Lee ann Gregory, 2nd. wife of James Elijah Snider. I don't know why there is so little info on his death certificate. On the 1900 census records you may have to search for Blane. He is living with his father & in 1910 his father is living with him & Lee Ann.
You had asked if I have info for Jonathan & Missouri Snider's children. Yes I do. I will try to get the info entered this week.
I had to send a public message. My computor won't let me send a private message. Since I downloaded windows live photo gallery I'm left with a bunch of empty files & documents,photo's & files scattered all over. I will have to let Best Buy check it out. I'm afraid if I delete photo gallery I may lose my photo's and files.
