Lucas Family Cemetery
I'd like to ask permission to post your sign for Lucas Family Cemetery in Asheboro, Randolph, NC on my tree at Ancestry. I have some folks buried there. I'd be more than happy to give you credit for the photo. Thanks for your consideration.

RE: holland

Looking closely on the headstone of the one marked July 25, 1925. It actually reads July 28th.

It really looks to me like one was the personal headstone and one was the military headstone of the same guy.

I see that alot, but must admit that usually its when the personal headstone is a shared headstone with a spouse.

New Bern
I am just trying the update the ones in Cedar Grove right now. Let the relatives of those Yankees buried in New Bern National figure it out themselves....hahahaha!

Please update the named memorials. They are not conflicting. One is Henry Clark, Sr and one Henry Clark, Jr. I am going through the Cedar Grove listing and identifying the Confederate Veterans and requesting their memorials be updated. I will probably send you a few more requests during the next week.

Got a msg from Rose stating she was deleting Willis Family Cemetery with its 4 duplicate graves from Davis-Murphy Cemetery. Hopefully, she will contact you with the obit info so it can be added with the photos from the correct cemetery.

Thank you for the very nice photos - there is no hurry on the third one. I imagine it was VERY cold out there this week.

RE: henry collins
I have been there for breakfast with my wife. Getting to some many cemeteries has let me stop in and try the local menus. Some I regret later.

I have been visiting Pamlico's Heritage Museum and done some genealogy work by looking thru their library. They are also collecting local cemeteries and photographing the gravestones.

I found that I had submitted the similar spreadsheet for Pollocksville and so I have had to take two days to clear all the duplication. There doesn't seem to be any checks to prevent duplication.

Buzzards Bay Cemetery

Do you have a boat? Just did a google search and the cemetery is on Lukens Island, accessible by boat off the South River. It is also known as Lukens Cemetery. Looks like there may be some old roads that lead out there, but I think they are on private hunting grounds now. So I wouldn't worry about the photo unless you are very curious about finding the place.

RE: william perry story
I see that you have phtographed several WWII KIA's out there, so I figured I would send them to you to see if you could get some photos. I have created virtual cems of WWII KIA's and have nearly 22,000 listed on them buried here in the states. Findagrave only allows 20 requests per week, and would take a liftime to request all of them without photos....please help! If you want to transfer back to me when you get photos that would be great!

RE: caleb
I have several trees that I am working on, my big one with everyone in my family is called Branches, Sprigs and Nuts. But I have a much smaller one called Bailey family tree. So you can connect with either one. I have Caleb in both.

Wedding Photo
I have uploaded their wedding photo to Caleb's memorial. On Aunt Georgie's memorial I have that one and a close up photo of her. I am also on Ancestry, so if you and the cousins would like to look me up the name is suzmonroe. I also have a scanned copy of Caleb's death certificate if you don't have that let me know.

RE: Caleb H wilson
I am on Aunt Georgie's side, she was my great-grandfather's sister. I have put a link to him on her memorial, so no transfer is necessary. But if you don't mind I have a beautiful photo of them I can put on his memorial?

John Wilson at Restland Dallas
Hello. Regarding your photo request at Restland. Requests are not likely to be filled without plot information. As the cemetery is over 400 acres with multiple mausoleums, this information is pertinent. The office does not have time to look up info and is now taking person info from non-family members for HIPPA purposes. If you'd like your request to be filled, please call them at 972-238-7111 - Hours are from 9am-6pm CST Monday-Sunday. You can also send them an e-mail requesting plot info by visiting their contact page at: -- If you're able to, please revise the persons profile page with known plot info so that volunteers can proceed. Thank you and have a good day.
