|Tina ||Morgan/Wolfe City, TX|
Larry, I'm curious about something mentioned on Daniel J. Morgan's site on find-a-grave (my great g-father). It mentions a child/"Mollie", but my aunt says that my grandfather, Homer's MOTHER was Mollie (not Mary C. as mentioned there.) I'm attempting to locate info, but don't have THAT much to go off of. My aunt Orpha says that even Homer did not know much about his family, that he was small when Mollie died,and that Daniel died when he was fairly young too.
She says that Mollie is buried at Webb Hill Cemetery, but there prob is no headstone.
Do you know where the information came from??

I requested a photo on Ms. Spradling and the volunteer said that they walked the cemetery and did/could not find a headstone to take a picture of which is too bad. I am wondering if you would be so kind as to state the above on her memorial so the next person will know that an attempt was made to get a picture of the headstone. Thank you very much - Karen

Ann Hall was my mother's first cousin. Do you mind if I use their headstone photo that you took in Wealthy Cemetery on my family tree? I'm also going to be sending some edits to connect family members. Thanks!

No problem.. I was glad I could help. I believe the maiden name is wrong on the memorial. I think it should be Ward instead of Wood.

I was wondering if you could share the info you have regarding the post you made on PC Allen's Grave Page. SC Allen is my great great grandfather making PC Allen my great great great grandmother. We have info that PC Martha Caroline Castle Allen was Caroline Callie Castlebury. We also have her birth year in 1851. All of our info is from my grandmother's memory and the 1880 Census and Texas Confederate Pension Records. What does PC stand for. if you know?
Any info you are willing to share would be much appreciated! Thank you for your time!

No problem. Your request caught me just as I was leaving to take other cemetery pictures and this grave was easy to find. Do know that there is a find-a-grave member who is currently attempting to place all listed grave sites (section by section) at this cemetery. So, if you find more pictures you need, just let me know.

I am heading that way in the middle of June and if no one has photographed the stones, I will get them for you.

I'm glad I could help. :) Did you notice the other Gillon memorials I posted? Camilla Copas Gillon, wife of Walter Gillon, I believe, from the info I have found, Walter would be the brother to your John Leslie Gillon. More information is listed on Camilla's memorial. What do you think? If you would like me to transfer them just let me know. :)
