You are very welcome. She was my 2x Gr Grandmother and I just spent 5 months back in Missouri, tracking ancestors. I had to get my Mom and her cousin to start telling stories so that I could locate many of them. Margaret grew up in McNairy County TN and married John Mack in Memphis, but the old census records in McNairy County only lists gender and number of relatives of the family head. Memphis census doesn't list her, so they must have travelled to Memphis to get married. Still so many loose ends to the Dodd ancestors and all of my relatives that have the answers are quickly dying off. Have a fantastic New Years!

My pleasure. I did see a Beulah Hood right next to Fred. Did you want this too?

As you can see the sand covered the Marker Stone, I transferred the memorial over to you.

|Mary Yarber||Joseph Brewer|
Do you have any documents which prove that Joseph is Solomon's son? I am trying to find paper proof for this lineage. I have the copy of the Oregon County Citizens in the Newspapers and Cemeteries book which shows this lineage but am also looking for another source. Thanks for any help you can give me.

Thank you very much for taking the picture of Jason Dodd's grave at the National Cemetery. This is a fantastic addition to our family info archives. He was my great,great,great grandfather and (at least for now) was the starting point of the Dodd family in America.

|CajunPaul||RE: Calhoun Family|
Virginia "Stuart" Calhoun is my wife's Great Great Grandmother thru her son William Maxfield Chambers by her first husband Thomas Jefferson Chambers who died in the Civil War.
So you and my wife definitely have a connection.
I would love to share info, contact me at (cajunPaul@hotmail.com) and put (Calhoun - Chambers) in the Subject line so I can keep it from going to Junk Mail.
Looking forward to hearing from you.

|SKates||Help with Hood family|
I found your post for James Franklin Hood and am hoping that you might have the family connection I'm missing.
My great grandfather was Benjamin Franklin Hood, and I have sketchy information that his father's name was James. I don't really believe that James Franklin Hood is THAT James, but with a father Benjamin, Franklin for a middle name, and a deceased son named (William?) Benjamin Franklin, I can't help but believe there's some connection somewhere.
Do you have any information on James Franklin Hood's uncles, or maybe if he had another child that he named Benjamin Franklin Hood after his other child died at age 2. My great-grandfather Benjamin Franklin was born in 1846.
Any information you have at ALL, even if it's inconclusive, would be tremendously appreciated!!!!
