Photograph
Greetings Cheryl,

I have co-authored an article about Wallace Thurman who was born here in Utah and is buried in the Silver Mount Cemetery in New York. The Utah Historical Quarterly is going to publish the article and the editor would like to use the photograph that your took of the cemetery that is posted at Find a Grave. She would like to use the bottom photograph. May we have permission to use the photograph? The editor says she needs a 300 dp TIFF copy. Can you supply this? How would you like credit line to read? The editor has to send all the photographs to the person who is doing the layout for the journal in the very near future. So, please let us know if this is a possibility at your earliest convenience.
Thanks for your consideration. Sincerely, David Hales

Stigers' graves
Cheryl:

I saw that you needed them and drove nearly six hours to take those photos. :-)

Not really, I was at that cemetery in October 2005 and was there to photograph headstones for my family and saw four stones of folks to which I am not related and thought they were unique and snapped them at the time. The two Stigers' stones just happened to be two of the four.

It must have meant to be as I do not normally take photos of graves of people that I am not connected in some way. Glad to be able to help.

Jim

Norman Harrington Lawton
Cheryl,

I finally found where Norman Harrington Lawton is buried. He is in Arlington Cemetery in Drexel Hill, PA. So the picture of the headstone no longer applies. I was wondering if you could remove it when you have the chance. Apparently, there is no stone for him, but the cemetery/funeral home had information on him.

Thank you for all you do for Findagrave -- Teresa

Miller's buried in Zion Church Cem., Oldwick, Hunterdon Co., NJ
I just posted photo's of the tombstone's for some of your direct ancestors 1) John Henry Miller and 2) Mary Catharine Moelich Miller.

The stones are pretty warn but I could barely read the names and some of the dates etc.

I hope this helps. Melinda Pennington (Mindy)
