I appreciate your taking the picture of Katerina's grave stone. It showed me I was spelling her name wrong and 1919 and the year of death -- not 1918.
Thanks again. Jane Iafelice

Hi James,

Thank you so much for the photo of Mary & John's marker. I wasn't sure if John was buried there because he died in California. So, hadn't set up his memorial yet. I just did so. I am getting ready to request his headstone photo, so, if you have a closeup of his side of the marker, you can claim it in 1/2 hour.

Regards, Kaye

RE: findagrave pritchard at wauwatosa
Hi Jim. Thank you very much for all of your work to fill the requests for Find-A-Grave. Yes, I am interested in William Pritchard and his wife Emily's markers. I contacted the contributor of Emily's memorial with the burial information so once they update the site, I will request a photo of the headstone.

Regarding your note on "howell w.(21 Oct 1938)"...I need more information on who that is. I know that it is one of my relatives, but need more detail. Once I hear from you, I will create the memorial and request a photo.

Once again, thank you for all of your work.

Hi! Thanks for finding Charles and Rosina. I have added the request for Rosina, so if you can post photos for both of them I would really appreciate it!

The others you mentioned are not part of my family that I am aware of.

Hoping you can find Augusta Wachholz Johnson in Section 3, Block 2, Lot/Level 53.

Thanks again!!

Thank you so much for taking the grave marker for James. I have added a memorial for his wife Anna Belle that is also on that tombstone. Can you add the same photo to her memorial. Thanks.

Semper Fi Mom
Lawrence Gramins' Grave Photo
Hi James --

Thank you so much for taking a photo of little Larry's gravestone. My husband and I live in Florida now and I wasn't aware that Larry was buried at Holy Cross until a few months ago. My mother is in the Mausoleum and my maternal grandparents' graves are there as well. I wish now we had been able to visit this little boy's grave and say a prayer, too.

Thank you again for being so kind!

Mary Beth

Jan Bos from Nijmegen, Holland
Pfc Clyde Smith
Pfc Clyde Smith was a soldier in Battery A of the 693rd Anti Aircraft Machinegun (AA MG) Battalion. He was killed on 20 July 1943. He was buried in the temporary American Cemetery GELA in plot-grave H-92-1104.

After the war his remains were repatriated and buried in the United States.

I am writing a book about the GELA Cemetery, where over 1,200 young American men and women were buried. Hope to have the book finished next year for the 70th anniversary on 10 July 2013.

You took a picture of his grave and I would like to use the picture for my book, can I please have your permission to use the picture you took, of course you will be credited. You will be notified when the book is finished.

On the stone it is mentioned that he is buried in France, this is not correct. Cpl Townsend is buried in the Sicily Rome Cemetery in Nettuno (Italy) in grave D-2-25

If you are related and you or your family may have any pictures of him, any documentation or other information about his death, hope you are willing to share those with me.

Thank you
