|Julie Rasmussen||Dodge relatives|
I transferred children of a Dodge relative (their mother's maiden name) to you. I always prefer and interested family member have those that I am not related to.
It has been too cold to photograph graves in Iowa this week, which is unusual for December. I live near this cemetery and will wait until warmer weather.

I just double checked www.familysearch.org. His death cert. is under Everett C. Dodge. Marriage cert. is too. But you are correct, the birth cert. is under Challice Everett Dodge. He probably disliked his first name - I've seen first/middle names reversed many times in my research.
A copy of the burials at crystal lake that is available on Gardner's website also has his record as Everett C. Dodge.
I made a note of his birth name on the memorial.
Are you closely related? Would you like a transfer?

No problem. I'm glad they are with family. Take care and have a great December. Think spring!

|OnlyMe||Joseph D Dexter ( c. 1833 - Jun. 18, 1907)|
Joseph D. Dexter is the son of Rufus. He died June 8,1907,ae 74-6-0. He is buried with his wife, Sarah Jane (Knowlton) (died April 10,1898, ae 62-2-6 and their daughter, Elvira E. (death record lists her as Evelyn E.; died Nov. 15, 1871, ae 0-4-7). They are buried in the "Methodist Ground" area of the cemetery. The Methodist Ground was established in 1825, by the Union Street Methodist Society, and purchased by Springfield Cemetery in 1858. Although the Cemetery office has no diagram of this lot on file, I believe there is a monument. Right now, it's quite cold, perhaps too cold - especially in the cemetery.
In the meantime, if you'd like additional information, let me know.

They are looking good! My hope is that eventually I will transfer most of the memorials I have added to their family and friends.

That was a FAVOR. We did the best we could. We even added the husband's photo that you did not ask for.

I'm so sorry, the sun was just not at the right angle for this today. I have not been doing these photos very often. Did you want any of John or the son? Or his other wife Abigail? I did not see anyone named Milton while we were there.

|Anne ||Alvin Dodge|
Just wanted to thank you for the info for Alvin. I have made the additions.
I believe the memorial #19835843 is actually one in the same person. I think there is an error in the last name.
I am happy to transfer if you would like.

Hello, I did not make the changes on this one as the name and year you suggested was different than this memorial. The gravestone clearly says Edmund. However, I went ahead and transferred this one also to you since you are the Dodge Family Tree contact and you can make the corrections as you see fit. If you want, I can try to take new pics as they were taken back when there was snow on the ground and quite a bright day too. Just let me know. I also have a Robert and Carolyn Dodge.....any relations?

I added a few of Henry Minor White's family that had died after Hale's work in 1934. I also have Dodge's in my family that go back to Richard Dodge, arrived in Salem, 1628---but I couldn't find a connection to Henry Minor White!
