Harriet Baumgardner 16085194
I was able to locate the info regarding Harriet D'Yarmett - different Bumgardner - she was married to John and lived in Zanesville, OH and got as far as Christian, Illinois in her lifetime. Not the same Harriet as the one buried in Riverton. Hope you can help by making the edit updates submitted. Thank you!

Harriet Baumgardner 16085194
Hi Bob - I'm very interested to know how Harriet Baumgardner (16085194) is connected to the family they are connected to on your Find A Grave.

According to my research, this is the grave of my ancestor Harriet Ripley Baumgardner. She is the daughter of Col David Ripley and Easter Griswold Ripley (both buried in Riverton). This entire cemetery is pretty much the Gallia Ohio bunch like the Ripley's, Carters', etc. and the families they married into like the Parker's, Johnson's, Carr's, etc. including other children of David and Easter.

Harriet Ripley married Andrew Jackson (AJ) Baumgardner on 01 Feb 1849 in Gallia and they resided in their married life in Floyd County. She was buried alone there because AJ remarried and was buried in Cerro Gordo county with his second wife.

The dates line up for Harriet Ripley - but I have been unable to locate ANY connection to the D'Yarmett family she is currently lined up with. Would love to hear what you think. I have submitted the appropriate edits to you to get his updated with the Ripley information. Thank you (I did email you, but received no response)

Mary Ann Fulton Fulton
I suspect she's in my tree.
Could you just change her to Mary Ann Fulton?
I should know soon if she is Mary Ann Fulton Ricker by her burial info.
Unless she married a Fulton???
Thank you.

A L Garman
I realized you must not be getting my suggestions from findagrave as my sister is not getting them either.

Please delete A L Garman:

as he doesn't exist. I think you have him confused with A L CARMAN who already has a memorial. Thanks! Chris

Duplicate Records
Why don't all you people doing Riverton Cemetery get together and make one entry per person. I know it's hard to get hold of some contributors, but would male it so much easier. Thanks!

Updates made easy
Have you noticed there is now an edit tab on our profile page? My sister pointed it out to me a while back. It really cuts down on the editing. We no longer have to worry about not getting notified on email.

I also wanted to mention that I am currently photographing the Rockford Iowa cemetery. You have a memorial for an A.L. Garman #27043736 that needs to be deleted as he was previously added under his correct name of Alpheus L. Carman. Thanks for the quick reply this morning.

Alexander J. Jones

Are you positively sure that Alexander J. Jones is buried in Riverside Cemetery in Charles City, Iowa? There is no record of him in the office there. Do you have any other info on the site? I'd be happy to go look, again, but need more info. Thank you.

RE: Reams from Marble Rock
Hi, BH!!! hahaha

No, I'm not related. I did most of the memorials for St. Mary's Cem in Greene, and found a man's parents in your memorials, so wanted to link them. I'm good either way. Thanks a bunch.

HOF :-)

RE: Reams, Arthur and Josephine
I am not related to the Reams. I went to St. Mary's one day last fall and took 700 pics. I am still trying to get them posted. Lots of the people are interlinked. Seeing my photos in order helps me figure out who is related to who. I just like this cemetery and am trying to document it with photos and memorials. I would accept a transfer if you wish. Marilynn

Hi Bob,

First I want to thank you for being a volunteer for Find A Grave. I notice you have the wrong birth date for George W. SCHMECK his tombstone says born 08 Apr 1844, his wife Viranda L Mahoney was born 26 Jan 1846. the SCHMECK are buried at Clay Cemetery, Jo Daviess, Illinois.

Illinois Marriage Index 1820-1900:

Appreciate all of you hard work. Happy Digging from Alaska, Patsy Hittle Gore :)

Alexander Jones
I checked the Cemetery Books and Alexander Jones is not buried at Riverside Cemetery. His name does not appear in the alphabetical listing nor does his name appear in the January 1903 burials.

How is Hannah Heaver (b. 1853-1908) related to William Heaver? She is buried next to him.
