RE: Lillian Wermager
Thank you so much for checking on this. I will delete the memorial I added and add the headstone photo to the memorial.

Thanks for all the work you do!

Lillian Wermager

I recently was at the Riceford Norwegian Cemetery in Houston County, MN photographing family headstones. I also photographed all of the other headstones in the cemetery to make the cemetery more complete on Find A Grave. One of the headstones was for Peter C and Lillie IJ Wermager. Peter already had a memorial so I just added a photo to it. I also created a memorial for Lillie (140566401) before I realized that there was already one created at a different cemetery. The headstone clearly has her name on it but perhaps she is not really buried there. Do you have personal knowledge of her burial? If I have created a duplicate I will certainly delete it. Seems funny she would be buried elsewhere when a headstone exists for her in the Riceford Cemetery.

Let me know if you can shed any light on this!

Thank you.

Nels H Knutson
Hello Janet,

I was looking for more info on Nels H Knutson, died 22 Mar 1922 and was buried in Little Cedar Cemetery, Mower county, MN.

I see it says he was born in Valdres, Norway. Where was this info found?

He may be my great grandfather's uncle.

RE: Tiedeman Aaberg
That, or I was at the wrong one?!?!?! Come spring...if it's listed, I'll see it again and go in search of!

RE: Tiedeman Aaberg
There were other Aabergs listed. But none had the correct dates. Wasn't there another name listed on his personal page...? Seems I might have seen something else when I posted the info I found?

There is another cemetery within a mile of this one. Both small country cemeteries. One is Bethel and one is Bethlehem. But I checked them both for his name. Nothing.

I've heard the name Tiedeman for a last name in this area...maybe he is the originator of the name??

RE: Tiedeman Aaberg
You're welcome for the grave info. But...I got to it possible Tiedaman went by another name? A lot of the time I find that immigrants change their name when they get ere. Or....we changed their names for them!

Earl Anfinson
I had no "e" until I searched for him in the National Cemetery Locator. They added the "e" but since they got the death year wrong, I'm willing to blame it on a poor transcription. Thanks! - Connie

Cecellia Gullickson 1863 1880
Cecelia may of been a niece, In the 1875 Adams Mower Minn. census a Sissila Gullakson is living with Baard Hanson & his wife and with them, her daughter Sissila Gullakson age 10 b. 1863 Norway. Next door Hennrike Marie Gallakson age 11, is living with Baard's son Hans Jacob Hanson. The Hanson family lists Cecillia Hansdtr as a sister to Baard. she married Ramus Gullackson in Norway and when he died in 1873. Cecelia took her family, two living daughters to Minnesota to live with her brother. leaving one married daughter in Norway. just for your information. I have been unable to find a death record for Cecillia Hansdtr Gullakson, Hennrike Marie may of married. I am thinking that maybe Cecillia's husband may of been a relative of Ole Tilden Gullickson, a brother maybe.

RE: Elmwood
Thanks. Funny, the person who gave you that info just told me it was in River Grove. I think she is mistaking it with another cemetery of the same name. I wonder if this cemetery in Elmhurst has been merged with one called Elmlawn, because I cannot find any info.

Wondering if you have a location for Elmwood cemetery in DuPage county? I am unable to determine where it is. Thanks

RE: Thomas Stephenson
I have a copy of Luella's memorial folder. It said burial in congregational cemetery in Gilbert. I would guess they are buried together where ever they are.
Pall bearers were Lyle & Leland Stephenson, Earl Kelly, & Earl Miltenberger. Have you checkked with Lyle? It's worth a shot, talking to him.
Hope this helps.
I hope you had a great Mother's day.

Our Savior Cemetery, Santiago, MN
I will be ignoring your requests to update these two memorials:

- Memorial# 52532400

- Memorial# 52532471
Your request was to add the following, which is not correct:

Ole N. Viste and Martha Johnson Njos were married at Little Cedar Lutheran Church in Adams, Minnesota, on 10/20/1883.

You can leave the flower note, as is on Memorial# 52532471, as that is the correct marriage date 11-20-1888.

I have added more information to both of their BIO's per correspondence with a living grandson. Thanks for making suggestions though.

Mabel Hanson
Hi Janet,
When I entered the information on Oscar Hanson that you asked me to do I noticed that a name was added to the children of my great grandparents. Mabel. Just wondering where this information came from. I was aware that there was a girl child that had died but did not know the name. Also my grandparents Harry and Martha Hanson lost a child at birth. I have no idea where he/she is buried either.
Thank you for your hard work.

Janet MacClary
Thank You!
Hi Janet, I'm the daughter of Willard Knutson, who will be 92 June 30th. I am so grateful for the work you have done to provide invaluable information for families who have ancestors from the Adams area. I just this last week found this site, and I am so happy to find some of my ancestors.

I am sitting here with my dad, and he THINKS your mom may be Eunice. If so, he was in the same grade with your in Adams!

Thanks again and best regards!
Janet Knutson MacClary
