I have been told that he was buried in Holy Cross Cemetery. Date of birth: 1916 Date of death 1990. If you could make a picture of his headstone and put it on Find A Grave I sure would appreciate it. I want it for my Family Tree. Thank you so much, Mary Pearl

RE: Owensby
Hi Kat,

Congratulations! I will be honored for you to share the information about our family with Abigail. If you should ever publish the information I do ask that you list me as the source to allow possible contact with others in the family.

If you wouldn't mind my asking, through whom does Abigail descend? I may have additional information for her. You can tell her the Owensby's were honest, hard working but private people who wanted to live and let live. They deeply loved their family and provided to the best of their ability for them.

Hello Kat, To answer your question.. I didn't think it would hurt anyone if her photo was attached. She was my Jr. High homeroom teacher who believed in me and taught me to move forward and not be content in being average. While most of my friends live, work, and looking onto retirement in Turlock,California just like their parents, I moved on and saw the world.

I entered the death certificate in his bio. Jody had his birthplace as Italy, but the D.C. says Wisconsin, so I changed it. All I know is what is on the memorial. Thank you

Kat please check Memorial# 79514469
That is the son of Benjamin and Cora. You will see that he married again. Russ the creator of the memorial told me that his obit listed his father as Benjamin Riedold Sr who was living in Collinsville IL at the time of his death in 1968. It also stated his mother Cora died on 31 Mar 1953.

RE: Two Infants Larned
I believe that is reads Two infant sons of T & D Larned. There are no dates or any further information. I believe that it is Thomas and Dolly because there apparently was a burial of another son John Nelson Larned at North Ridge. I do not believe the stone is still there, or if it is it is no longer legible.

RE: Emily Jane (Pendleton) Gaines
Hello! So glad to hear from you! So, my grandmother's mother, Sallie, was sister to your India Ola Gaines Bryson. My grandma must have kept in touch with her Aunt India, as well as other members of her mother's family, as many of the pictures came from my grandma's photo album, which I have inherited. Another source for my information came from a Gaines book written by Dr. Thomas Gaines, of which my grandma had an autographed copy. Also, about 20 years ago (or so) I was in touch with another of India's descendants, through her daughter Grace Kathleen Bryson. I believe her name was Donna, and she had done a lot of Gaines/Pendleton research, and she graciously shared her info with me. Perhaps you know of her? I am very much interested in sharing and exchanging info with you, and of course you may use any of the photos. May I email you so we can continue our conversation via emails?

Hey Kat...good to hear from you. Made the correction/addition of middle name and added a short bio and updated the information that I have on my tree including DOB and location of birth and linked him to his parents. Still have not found an actual DOD, but will work on. Still need to make updates to Jennie's memorial and will try to get to it this weekend. When I'm done, I'll transfer both memorials to you. Hope all is well. Sharen in Oklahoma
