Hi James, please disregard my request to transfer her memorial to me. I talk to so many people on this site, sometimes I forget who I've contacted already. I guess it's old age! Pam

Hi, thought you might be just transcribing cemetary info in Rhode Island! I do that sometimes too. I will just include them in my virtual cemetary for ancestors on my father's side. Thanks for considering my request & for your reply. Pam

|Lisa ||Elander Hurley|
Hello, I was recently at Liberty Cemetery and looked for your requests for "Hurley". I could only find one tombstone with the name of E. Hurley and a date of Dec. 14, 1888. I'm unsure if this is the "Elander" Hurley that you are requesting. If you think it is I will post it under your request for the picture. I also went ahead and took several other Hurley tombstone pictures just in case you would want them as well. Their names are as follows: Spencer, Ambers, Wilson, Sindy, David, Kizzie, & William, Bernice, and Charles Jr. Hurley. If you need these as well let me know and I can send them via email to you.

I am our family genealogist and was wondering if your James Rogers was the son of John R Rogers who with his wife and young son James Rogers came over from Ireland sometime after 1850.

You may see a bunch of updates to memorials from Oak Grove from me. I've been trying to enter in all the names for the cemetery and when I see an entry that I have more info on, I'm sending notes suggesting the corrections/updates as I come across them. I'm trying to get Oak Grove to be as completely accurate as possible. Thanks and hope you don't mind all the emails. - Jennifer

The photo of "Mother" tombstone was deleted.
I recall that John Porter's grave could not be found. I went back several times to find it and even the person in charge of the cemetery could not locate it.

I don't know where the name Ingraham/Ingram comes from, but I believe this is Loucinda MORGAN, who married David Hurley, son of Spencer Hurley and Julia Ann Hurley. What do you think?

If he is listed in Oak Ridge Cemetery records he is here. Both BJJ and I have done a lot of work listing graves in ORC. If you get the right person at ORC office you get the correct info. I wish people who don't know what they are doing just leave the photo part alone and let the other do it. who know what they are doing

|BjJ||Campbells in Oak Ridge|
Hello....was wondering if you wanted me to post photos of the area the Campbell family is in at Oak Ridge? You have had requests out there since 2006 and I have known there were no stones since 2008 as it was one of the first families I looked for back then. The cemetery gave me the plot area and info and all that is there is an open grassy area. I hesitated to leave that photo thinking one day the stones might just pop up - ha - but other people have also looked with no results. I have zeroed in on the location based on the other stones and their plot info. I will be glad to post the photos if you want them. Just them me know.

|MYTKO||ROGERS FAMILY HISTORY|
JAMES, I HAVE TO TELL YOU THAT I GREATLY APPRECIATE WHAT YOU AND OTHER VOLUNTEERS HAVE DONE TO HELP OTHERS FIND THEIR ROOTS. DO YOU HAVE ANY CONNECTION TO THE ROGERS THAT LIVED IN THE BRONX AND MANHATTAN IN NEW YORK CITY FROM THE 1860'S - 1950'S. MY MOTHER WAS ORPHANED IN 1938 AND WE HAVE BEEN TRYING TO BRING CLOSURE TO HER BACKGROUND ON THE ROGERS SIDE. HER FATHER WAS EDWARD S. (1887-1938) MARRIED TO ELIZABETH BLANK (D. 1936). HE HAD 5 SIBLINGS: MARGARET A. ROGERS-McEWEN (HUSBAND CHARLES); FLORENCE GRACE ROGERS-HEALY (D. 1924)-TWO DAUGHTERS FLORENCE & JEANETTE; ELLA C. ROGERS-ABRAMS (1889-1952); JOSEPH ROGERS(B.1881); AND FRANK ROGERS. THEIR PARENTS WERE JANE MARIE DIAMOND-ROGERS (D.1937) AND EDWARD ROGERS (ABSOLUTELY NO CLUES ABOUT HIM), BUT FAMILY RUMORS SAY HE WAS A SEA CAPTAIN AND DIED AT SEA. THEY WERE BORN IN IRELAND, IMMIGRATED HERE SOMEWHERE AROUND 1872 AND WERE MARRIED SOMETIME IN THE 1860'S. IF YOU HAVE ANY INFORMATION REGARDING THESE ROGERS YOU CAN CONTACT ME, CATHI MYTKO, AT IRONCAT53@YAHOO.COM. THANKS AGAIN AND GOD BLESS, CATHI

|Sue Williams||Charles William Rogers|
I just left 2 extra photos, along with the one requested, on his memorial. Since he was buried in 1841, the engraving is almost gone. I am 99.9 % sure that it is his, since the grave is where the cemetery states it is and there are no other "Rogers" around. This grave does say 'Charles'. I had to climb in to the bushes (huge and on a hill) to take the photo because the fronts were facing in to the bushes. I did take one from the back, so you can see the layout and that Charles is with 2 others, probably younger. Charles is in the middle. If you want, I can go back to the office and ask them for verification of his grave and who is buried with/next to him. But, this cemetery along with so many others now, are charging $35.00 per request!
But, I could ask anyway....if you want!!!
