|Jan Franco||Wm. Brunnemann|
Added the dates, but it is not clear to me how to connect the link. It it his wife, or mother?

I believe that your memorial entry #115355293 for Frederick Brunneman is in error. The burial index card attached to the memorial indicates that he is buried in the MT Grove Cemetery in Bridgeport.
The Christopher Avery Cemetery is an ancient cemetery. I do not think there have been any burials there since the mid 19th century.

|June Ford||Ford family|
I believe it is very likely that my husband's g-g-grandfather John Ford is closely related to this family but have been unable to make a connection. He & Jared P Ford started the first Methodist Church in Decatur Co IND, and I've amassed a lot of information on them that points in a certain way and still.... If anyone would like to exchange info I'd be delighted.

I attended the 9th grade with a Rafael Sarmiento in Ayer, MA in 1952/53. Both of our fathers were in the US Army at the time. Is this the same Rafael?

Is it possible for you to get a photo of the grave site of Elam Earl Padgett:
Sec. A. Plot 4K Grave 17E? If you could and put it on his memorial I would appreciate it very much.

big help. I'm good, once I have been there. Know the cirlces..my little landmarks....
will check on that Sect 2..since no name was on the road, unless they want me to walk in by the fence again.. I did that last time.
Just got a sharp e-mail , saying it was as a vol, to get locations , I mention there is 14 of them and they will charge me.. I burn gas/fight weather/ etc LOL and I will not not pay since they charge for genealogy over 3 locations. I also mention they are open 9-4 . there lost, not mine.. Unbelievable..
Again Thanks.. This will be the last run up into Ct until, Sept.
Have a Good Aug

|John Miceli||RE: The McLaughlin Family|
Good Day and Happy Easter!
Actually, I believe Daniel's stone says 3 years not 8 years. I feel driven to get a better picture of the subscript on the front of George's monument, So I am intending to go back out to Oakdale to scrub the stone and maybe even do a rubbing of it. I'll attach pictures of that too. I just like a good puzzle ;-)
I will verify the date on Daniel's stone since they are next to each other.
By the way, do you have access to the virtual cemetery I set up for your family or is that only visible to me? I listed the lot locations for each stone in it, but if you cannot see it then I will transfer the data to a note so you have it.

|tcmk1971||Lakeview Cemetery, Bridgeport CT|
I hope that you got my email and attachments with all of the information from Lakeview on the Galpin plot. I wish that more of the graves had headstones, but at least there was one. I just uploaded a pic of the plot to the other memorials.
I'm afraid that according to cemetery records, Ann/Mabel Galpin Jones and Walter Jones are not buried in that plot, but next time I'm there I can ask the office if they have any record of them being buried somewhere else at Lakeview.
Added by tcmk1971 on Aug 26, 2008 7:25 AM
By coincidence, I posted it just this morning! You'll find it in the Union Cemetery memorials under the name "Alonzo T. Derby."
We spoke to the office, and they confirmed that he is buried in the section you named, and that it is the same section as the Derby plot, but we looked throught the whole section and could see no stone with his name. The groundskeeper knew of no Haviland stone anywhere in the cemetery.
I did happen upon a Haviland stone in a cemetery a few miles away (Riverside in Shelton, CT) and posted a pic there. No Herbert, though, so I suppose it's probably just a coincidence.
Sorry I couldn't be of more help!

|Joyce Squires||RE; GALPIN relative|
Hi, I am a descendant of Martha Galpin, Mar. 1685, b. Woodbury, Litchfield County, CT.; d. Apr. 11, 1745, Woodbury. Her fathers name was Benjamin 1654 b. New Haven, CT.; Her mother was Rebecca Brown 1660 b. Stamford, Fairfield County,CT. d. 8 Feb. 1743, Woodbury. Actually I discovered the Galpin cemetery looking for my fathers side of the family SQUIRES. I am only a relative through Martha Warner who married my g.g.g.g.g.g.g.grandfather David Squires in Woodbury, CT. But it's fun just too make a link. Do you have any info. on any of the above?
