Jerry - I'm so glad you responded to the picture posting. I wanted to let you know that I did not find a headstone for Margaret O'Neil anywhere near James'. If you happen to know if she is buried in another location, I will be more than happy to look for her headstone and take a picture.

That was what I thought the date on the stone looked like. See if you can enhance and what you think the date may be.

Question regarding her second husband. The name on the stone looks like Twain not Swaine. ?? There is also information on another side of the stone for Theodora Phelps Hopkins (1800-1883), identified as a wife of Richard H. Hopkins. Yes, 26 degrees was a bit brisk. The cemetery secretary thought I was a bit nuts!

You're welcome. There were several other Dennis headstones around hers: Marjorie Ruth Dennis 1914-1971, Robert Lee Dennis 1909-1994, Dorothy Abigail Dennis 1905-1994, Isarelda Sowle Dennis 1878-1977, and Lewis David Dennis 1877-1961. I took photos of their headstones just in case you had interest in these as well. -Carolyn

I fulfilled your photo request for Robert Peacock. I also took a photo of his wife's headstone and set up a memorial for her. I would be happy to transfer that memorial to you. If interested, please fill out the transfer request through "edit."

Hi, Jerry! OMG! Red Sox lead the Orioles 3-2 in the 7th inning, but now there's a rain delay.
Meanwhile the Braves & Phils are tied 3-3 in the 9th inning..!! So, while there's a delay, I transferred the memorials to you...
In case you are curious about Maria who left flowers on the memorials, she's a friend of mine who loves to leave flowers on the memorials I create.....She lives in Davao City, Philippines.
As for the Angeles Rosedale Cemetery, it's very old and poorly maintained. The entrance is on the south side, so that part of the cemetery looks fairly nice, but section Q is in the back, near the NW corner & against Venice Blvd, and section Q looks very shabby. The "gardeners" don't control the many weeds that grow fast, so when they get around to mowing, they leave a lot of "fodder" behind which piles up and covers some of the markers...I always bring my whisk broom to clear markers, so I can read them. There's a lot of vandalism too, with verticle markers pushed off their pedestals. There's seems to be no effort put forth to get the markers back in place...The one's that are not too heavy, I turn over and turn around, so they can be read.
The Barrett markers are looking ok...They are under a large shade tree, so there's lots of shade, but an abundance of leaves...I'm sorry I don't have a camera or the knowledge to put the marker photos on your memorials.
As of now, I have transferred 45 memorials that I have created....Nice!!
That's all for now...RICHARD

HI, JERRY! I'm going to wait until the games on ESPN are finished this evening before I add more of your additions/corrections....Then I will transfer the Barretts.
In the meantime, during the ad breaks, I will work on this message...
My g-g grandfather was Henry Evan Garden (1835-1906), from Scotland, who married Mary Barrett (1842-1926), from Ireland. They lived in Sardis, Ohio and are buried in the Witten Cemetery there. Mary's parents were James Barrett who married Catherine Clark....I know nothing more about James & Catherine.

|Richard Wesley||BARRETT & BOSSUET|
Hello Jerry..!! I'm minutes away from watching the Red Sox-Orioles end-of-season baseball game, which may determine which team gets into the playoffs...Also, I'll be checking on the Braves-Phillies game from time-to-time...HA!!
Anyway, I made the additions/corretions you requested, except findagrave did not have the town Leroy listed for Jefferson County, so I just put in the county only...
While I have Barrett ancestors, if these people are related to you, I will be glad to transfer management of their memorials to you...Just let me know which ones you want...
