Andrew Reno
My grandson's 4th grt grandfather is Andrew Reno and I would like to be able to find more information about him, his parents etc. So far I have not been able to find much of anything.
His wife's name was Clara Beck and I have found some things about her.
I have a family tree for my grandson Johnpaul on I love doing family research and feel sad when I hit a brick wall.
Thank you for what you are doing to honor those who have passed on and to help us all know who they were what they did and where they came from.

Hi Dave, thanks for UR message & I enjoyed reading about Joe's life. It was my honor to leave a tribute for him. It has been a long time since we have connected & I'm glad I had the time to flower UR memorials. Sometimes a person gets so overwhelmed with daily life & obligations that it takes away from our pleasurable activities, like Findagrave.

It has been a pleasure to spend these few moments with you. Take care & have a good week.

Thankyou cousin that was very sweet of you to sponser my sisterinlaws interment.
We had such a great service today at her funeral, My husbands brother James did a memory speech as well as a friend of hers and her husband's who was in a motorcycle club with them , who helped people in need. Most of it was very happy memories and funny too , course there were alot of tears shed for Paula but we all knew she was with her husband now and her parents, and brother , and other family members who went on before her , so we were happy for her in that respect.

Have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. And take care .

Love ya cousin Dave

Your Welcome
Hi Dave, You are very welcome it was an honor to visit your Mom's gavesite and take the photo of her gravestone. I thought perhaps you were related to the Macsoods and you are welcome. I see you have left many tokens on the memorials for New Calvary. If you would like any of the ones I have put on please let me know and I will do a transfer. It was nice hearing from you, take care....Linda

Re: Reno
Hi Dave... Guess we'll have to study on this. Ha! I have never heard of some of the names you speak of, until now. But, you're right -- there must be a connection. My Renos that I know about weren't Catholic. My older ones, back into 1600 and for some time after that, were French Huguenots. I believe religious persecution was part of the reason they left France. Some went to England. Eventually, even within siblings, some would deliberately alter the spelling of their last name, to appear a different nationality, to avoid persecution. I have a number of Louis/Lewis names far back, too. The first Reno that I know of was General Louis DeReynaud (born 1600), of Paris, France. If you run a Descendancy Chart from him down, you will see where Christopher Columbus Reno fits in. Maybe you can run a chart down from your oldest Reno, and see if they connect. Or I can do it, if you give me the name of your oldest Reno. Nice hearing from you!!!

So where do you fit into the Reno clan? I am a great-granddaughter of Christopher Columbus Reno and Tibitha Ellen Fitz Jarrell, and I lived in Alberta, Canada. Would love to hear from you and maybe swap pictures and info.
