Re:George Pugh in the Burlingame cemetery
George Pugh is suppose to be buried in the 1st addition to the Burlingame Cemetery in Lot 43 but there is not stone for him. I will add the lot information to the memorial to show he is buried in the cemetery.

Thanks, Sharon, for the links for James to his parents which I have now added to his memorial.
Assuming you are related, and as you know, for many of my memorials I am not, so if you would like a transfer of his memorial, please just let me know.

Jack Johnson
I took photos today of the Johnson family plot at Lieb Cemetery and posted them on Jack's Find a Grave site. There is currently no individual headstone for Jack Johnson, just one for his wife, Wilma.

Find A Grave# 113972122

I know they did not have children. Kate is the 3rd child of Gerrit and Catharine Stekelenburg. There were 11 children in all. I know where her mother is buried and am awaiting pictures of her parents and perhaps her from a cousin. I will be posting them on their burial sites when I receive them. I should have the Cemetery information for Catharine Bowman Stekelenburg soon also. When my mother and my fraternal grandmother divorced the Stekelenburg men, they burned all the information and pictures. I am so fortunate to have had the daughter of Kate's sister Jennie (5th child) contact me when she saw some of her pictures on grave sites I manage for Steklenburg/Stekelenburg.

RE: Eva Stott
Sharon, The picture I added was Eva cropped from a family photo, Her mother, father and siblings. I will add the full photo to her memorial if you like. Yes I am related to her. My mother is Eva's grand niece. You see, my mothers father was the son of Eva's brother, William Stott, Memorial# 100622223 As for Eva's husband, Eva and James Willis Pugh were married in 1896 and divorced sometime around 1917. Eva is listed in the 1915 Kansas Census as married to James but in the 1920 Federal Census, listed as divorced. James and Eva had two children before divorcing, Floyd Willis, 1897, and Carrie Elizabeth, 1900. I have no record of James Willis Pugh after 1915, but I only recently found info on the divorce and haven't researched it further. This may or may not be more info than you were looking for ;) If so, so sorry ;) However, if you are interested in more info yet, let me know! Are you related to Eva in some way?
Thanks, Kyle

RE: Altons in Hammondsburg
I discovered after I sent the "problem" reports for these photo requests that there are pictures of small metal grave markers on Iowa Gravestone Photo Project. If you will resubmit the requests, I will look for them when I go to Hammondsburg Cemetery. We had 11.8 inches of snow in this area last Wednesday, so it may be a while before I can get down there.

I'm sorry for the confusion. The graves are listed as unmarked in the Warren County Cemetery and Burial Records. Next time I'll know to check for pictures on other sites before I suggest removing a photo request.

I also have more info on each of the Altons you requested photos for. I will put this info on the Edit tab for each person.

RE: Your father, Joe
No, he doesnt. Dad had always wanted to donate part of his land to the Salem Cemetery but never got around to doing so before he died. Mom contacted the cemetery board & they are in the process of having it all taken care of in exchange for some plots. We will bury dads remains & get a headstone as soon as the legalities are taken care of concerning the donation of the land.

As far as Robert Farrell, his urn of ashes was buried between Betty's folks' plots in Salem Cemetery - Im trying to remember the names, but Im drawing a total blank. Maybe you already know the names? There is not a headstone for him either, and the way that he was buried Im assuming that there wont be.

RE: LOUISA HALFERTY
That's okay and probably the case here - always sad when those without stones but always like to double check to see if that is the case.

re: Your Query Regarding Halferty
Hi Sharon. Your question if Edward and Catherine have headstones sorta confused me, as they are shown on the memorials. I read your query to Doris and her response. I've sent her a public message which I hope answers your initial question to her. Feel free to contact me via my email addy if you have more questions regarding Halferty.

LOUISA HALFERTY
Sharon - just wondering if you know for sure that Louisa is buried in the Chariton Cemetery.
There is no listing for her in the Lucas Co. Cemetery book and I've pretty well covered all the cemetery taking pictures and have not run across a stone for her. Just wondering?

RE: George J. Pugh's Family
Thanks for the information, Sharon. I have added it to the memorials. I have a question on Virginia, though. You gave her birth year as 1836; the tombstone says 1838. I didn't change it, because I wanted to double check with you. If the tombstone is incorrect, I will make the change and note the discrepancy. Thanks again!
