Benjamin and Mahalia
Dear Ron,

I got your message. I am also a direct descendant.

Do you have a family tree posted anywhere online? It would be nice to compare our respective pedigrees.

Hope to hear from you.

Kevin Whitehead
Benjamin Franklin Johnson
Hi Ron,
It looks like you'll need to add the memorial numbers for Isaac and Sara Johnson to Benjamin's memorial. He'll then show up on their memorials listed as their son. I am from his brother's(William Brownlow) line.
Best regards,
Kevin

you have no contact info...the only way to let you know was to access one of your entries and do an edit...

I think a requirement of ever Find A Grave contributor should be to have a way to contact everyone without having to jump many hoops to alert someone of an error or et cetera...

thanks for your reply...

Sponsor
Ron, there are several little icons that go with a memorial. A tombstone shows when there is a picture of the graveyard on the memorial. A flower when people place flowers in memorial. A picture frame when there is a photo of the deceased and a heart when someone sponsors the memorial. So when a memorial has been "sponsored" it is given it's heart. It costs $5 to do this and you can click on the top of any memorial that shows the line (Learn about removing the ads from this memorial). Once sponsored, advertisements no longer show on the memorial and you can also add many more photographs. Here on Find A Grave you will find many who are honoured to sponsor a memorial, it is a gift of love to the Angel and their family. You may sponsor your own memorials if you wish but many appreciate the gift from another Find A Grave friend whom you may or may not know. When setting up your memorials allow some time for others to bring you the joy of sponsoring it is a lovely gift to receive and to give. Happy New Year.

Phil & Donna (Stricklan/Brush) Whitaker
Melton Family in Moore
I did not add the Melton's son therefore I am unable to link him to his parents. You will need to contact the person who entered his memorial and have her link them.

I came across the memorial for Josh Dufort when visiting others and wondered if you might want to expand on his bio via the following links. What a terrible tragic, cruel end to such a promising young life. http://www.lvrj.com/news/henderson-murder-victim-named-107074188.html

http://masonnews.wordpress.com/2010/12/08/remembering-josh-dufort-an-actor-on-the-rise/

http://www.lasvegassun.com/news/2011/jun/15/insurance-company-1-million-policy-henderson-man-f/

There are a few others on the web but these would give a little more family history, relationships and events of death if you are interested. I looked into it just to know a little more about the young man I wanted to offer a prayer for so my suggestion is out of respect for the deceased that his whole story be told as is relevant.

Hi Ron,

Thank you for the biographically information. I just posted the info and noticed that you posted a wonderful photo of LDCR Kenneth Kraper. Would you like to manage this memorial?

Carl Brashear
Carl was was the first African American to become a U.S. Navy Master Diver. Also " Damage to his leg was too severe and it was amputated to avoid gangrene" is not correct. "...faced with years of recovery and rehabilitation, Brashear convinced his doctors to amputate the lower portion of his leg." This information is from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carl_Brashear & Men Of Honor.

I believe he is James and Nancy's son.

Please check out this website for a photo of their tombstone; its not very good. It must be under a tree.

Rossey Montgomery
Is Rossey their son? I will transfer him to you if he is part of the Montgomery family.

I've been trying to link everyone up in that cemetery but haven't gotten around to looking at this Montgomery line yet to see how all these people are related.

RE: that's crap
I done the exact same thing on one searched didnt find any entered it then they told me there was already one and removed mine not long ago.

The bio well they said the one I had was copy righted so I removed it and left it blank, I see they put yours in there.

I got an email saying no copy and past of obituary etc. Heck if thats the case they may as well remove all entries because most are copied from the newspapers online..
